Microplastics are quite literally showing up in people’s arteries. A study in the New England Journal of Medicine found that people with microplastics in their artery plaque had a way higher risk of heart attack and stroke. Insane, right?

The scary bit is that it’s from your own kitchen. Look at your plastic blender or kettle, which is adding heat to food and water you consume. Do we see the problem now?

Here’s a quick simple swap: shift from using plastic and swap them for stainless steel. That’s it. It doesn’t seem like a lot but start small. Start now.

Tag some people who using a plastic kettle in their kitchen. They need to see this.

We do so love a simple bio hack here at Ishtara. And this is a good one. It’s easy. It’s simple and anyone can do it.
Try this: After your meals, take a 15 minute walk. What this gental movement does, it signals your muscles to start using glucose for fuel. Think of it like pressing “x2” on your metabolism.
Perhaps share this with your walking buddy.

For those of us who love data and metrics, this one’s for you.
How do you measure rest and recovery in your own life?

Many smart devices track HRV (Heart Rate Variability) which is a metric that gives insight into how your body responds to stress and recovers over time.
It’s a reminder that our watches can track more than just steps. They can help us understand ourselves better.

Community challenge:
Track your HRV this week and notice how it changes with sleep, stress, training, or rest.
If you’re comfortable, share your HRV trends or insights in the comments. What did you notice?

We know Carnival is right around the corner. The Savannah is packed with people exercising, Lady Chancellor hill looking like a traffic jam with sneakers. Everybody training.

So you’ve worked out, and your muscles are killing you the next day.

Here’s what’s happening.
It’s not “sore”, your muscles are repairing the micro-tears that occur after you train.

Gains don’t stop at the workout, the post workout is just as important. Supporting your body properly is key to faster recovery, decreasing stiffness and keeping your energy up.

Post workout inflammation recovery stack:
- Magnesium helps relax tight muscles and calm the nervous system.
- Turmeric supports a healthy inflammatory response.
- Vitamin C helps with tissue repair and collagen production.

Share this with people who need to train smarter.

Preparing for de road shouldn’t mean crash dieting. Your body deserves better than extreme restrictions for quick gains. Nourish your body, chip happily and just remember that you are meant to enjoy the festivities.
Real strength and beauty comes from taking care of yourself, not punishing your body.

Remember : Prioritize proteins. It keeps you satisfied for longer and has the highest thermal effect, meaning your body burns more calories just digesting it.
