I will be teaching a special Yin Yoga class next Monday 19th December, online at 7.30pm.
This will be your pre-Christmas slow down.... Gather all your pillows, cushions and blankets and settle in for 75 minutes of settling into stillness and relaxation.

Pyjamas, fairy lights, tinsel, candles and eye pillows all optional but recommended!

50% of your payment for this class will be donated to the so your booking will mean an awful lot to me and the charity.
"We provide care for any illness that is considered life-limiting (including cancer, neurological diseases, and chronic heart, lung and renal diseases), both in our Inpatient Unit and in our patient's home environments. We also provide support for families and carers, and for people who have been bereaved."

I'd love to see you there, please share with your friends or perhaps book them in to join you! x

This session will be recorded so if you can't make the live-stream, msg me after booking and the recording will be emailed to you afterwards.

“There has been quite a bit of online commentary, some of it quite derogatory, regarding the black robe that Lionel Messi wore prior to accepting the World Cup. For context, I wanted to explain its significance.

The garment is called a ‘bisht’ and it is an outer garment worn in predominantly Arab countries. The name is derived from the Akkadian word ‘bishtu’ which means ‘nobility’ or ‘prestige’.

This garment is considered a symbol of great honour. It’s a status symbol amongst royalty, the wealthy and those with high social rank, much like a cross between ceremonial graduation robes or, in Western terms, wearing a black tuxedo at a special occasion.

When it’s the Emir of a country literally gifting you the bisht, putting it on you with his own hands, it’s the highest honour that can be bestowed upon that civilian. It has nothing to do with religion at all.

Messi accepted it graciously and wore it,
it was the Qatari way of recognising him for the G.O.A.T that he is."

Butt up head down, that how the firefly fly. Jet lag is a thing! Sometimes more than other, but at this very time it kicks me butt. Patience the key while trying to stick to this local time zone, saying no to my body’s confused request for midnight sleep and other perfectly reasonable somatic requests. Yet over it all, Bali is a beautiful beautiful beautiful corner of the world and I feel charmed by the Gods to be here 🌺 thx .ubud and all you awesome students for making us feel so welcome ❤️
