I woke up to this message:

"𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙨𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙖𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙢𝙮 𝙨𝙪𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙙𝙖𝙡 𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙨!"
Proclaimed by one of my new clients this morning.

𝘼𝙡𝙝𝙖𝙢𝙙𝙪𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙖𝙝! 𝘼𝙡𝙡𝙖𝙝𝙪 𝘼𝙠𝙗𝙖𝙧!

Stunned at the hardship she is going through, I humbled myself to Allah and reaffirmed that I would never underestimate the power of impact.

As a positive force to others, one of my Goals is sharing the immense power of spiritually understanding and reconnecting with your authentic self and your creator, Allah.

We are led by the so called '𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙡𝙙𝙡𝙮 𝙣𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙝𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩' negating the '𝙨𝙤𝙪𝙡'𝙨 𝙣𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙝𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩' which is thirsty to engage with Allah swt (God) where it finds peace, contentment and solace.

We are living in turbulent times all around the world, it is during times like this that we must fall and surrender to God Almighty.

𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙦𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝘽𝙚𝙮𝙤𝙣𝙙 𝙍𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙙𝙖𝙣: 𝙍𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘼𝙗𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙪𝙧𝙚𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝘿𝙞𝙨𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 & 𝘼𝙣𝙭𝙞𝙚𝙩𝙮

It’s the same cycle every year.

Ramadan ends. We get spiritually hungover.

That lasts a couple of weeks. We get back into our routine.

Then the blocks resurface. One by one.

And before you know it, the same old blocks anchoring you to places you don’t want to be.

𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐬 𝐭𝐨𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐡 (𝐬𝐰𝐭), feel peaceful, calm, despite a storm brewing around you, and be optimistic and content enough in the face of adversities.

When Ramadan ends, it’s only natural to get sucked into our same ‘ol routine.

𝐀𝐧𝐱𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲 creeps in through the doorways we have been trying to bolt shut.

But when we start to lose the momentum we vowed to maintain throughout the year, we are hit with a round of disappointment - beating ourselves up for not being able to stay consistent in our pursuit of Allah (swt).

Then comes the pressure from falling short in our daily spiritual habits and when these dots connect, the pattern takes a frightening shape threatening to put us in zombie mode while our blocks start to resurface.

Look, 𝘄𝗲’𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘀.

𝐅𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐢𝐭’𝐬 𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫.

But when you learn to steer your personality and emotions to remain unbelievably calm in the face of adversities, that is when you bury the triggers hidden inside your old self and cover them up with newfound spiritual habits that keep you on the path you set on in the first place.

You are not meant to fail, you have every strength to push yourself and prolong your spiritual high for as long as you can.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐭𝐲𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐞𝐭 ﷺ ❤

A blind Sahabi by the name of Ibn Umm Maktoum.

He thought his disability defined him, that he wasn’t capable of being in the Jama’ah every day because his house was far from the Masjid.

So, he came to the Prophet ﷺ seeking permission to pray at home instead.

But the Prophet ﷺ knew of his potential.

He ﷺ told him so long as you can hear the Adhan, come to the Masjid.

Then he asked Ibn Umm Maktoum to come earlier to catch the Adhan when it was made.

Then finally, when the habit was established and belief was planted, the Prophet ﷺ asked him to lead the prayer in his absence.

So that whenever the Prophet ﷺ left Madinah for an expedition, Ibn Umm Maktoum, the blind man, was appointed Imam.

𝑇ℎ𝑒 𝑃𝑟𝑜𝑝ℎ𝑒𝑡 ﷺ 𝑟𝑒𝑑𝑒𝑓𝑖𝑛𝑒𝑑 𝑠𝑢𝑐𝑐𝑒𝑠𝑠 𝑓𝑜𝑟 ℎ𝑖𝑠 𝑝𝑒𝑜𝑝𝑙𝑒, ℎ𝑒 𝑢𝑛𝑑𝑒𝑟𝑠𝑡𝑜𝑜𝑑 𝑒𝑎𝑐ℎ 𝑝𝑒𝑟𝑠𝑜𝑛’𝑠 𝑠𝑡𝑎𝑟𝑡𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑝𝑜𝑖𝑛𝑡 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑐𝑜𝑎𝑐ℎ𝑒𝑑 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑚 𝑡𝑜 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑖𝑟 𝑛𝑒𝑥𝑡 𝑚𝑖𝑙𝑒𝑠𝑡𝑜𝑛𝑒, 𝑐𝑜𝑚𝑝𝑎𝑠𝑠𝑖𝑜𝑛𝑎𝑡𝑒 𝑤ℎ𝑒𝑛 𝑛𝑒𝑒𝑑𝑒𝑑 𝑤𝑖𝑡ℎ𝑜𝑢𝑡 𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑟 𝑙𝑜𝑤𝑒𝑟𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑠𝑡𝑎𝑛𝑑𝑎𝑟𝑑𝑠.
