Introducing one of our newest SLPs, Mrs. Aliah Lawrence-Carter, CPRM #956

Aliah Lawrence-Carter graduated from the University of the West Indies, St Augustine with her Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology. She is very passionate about helping persons of all ages (re)habilitate their communication skills!

Her aim is to have the profession holistically recognized as it entails lots more than treating with children with different speech and language delays or disorders. The specialty encompasses a broad range of communication-related areas, including working with individuals who have experienced traumatic brain injuries, strokes, neurodegenerative diseases, swallowing disorders, cognitive impairments, stuttering, voice disorders, and even accent modification.

Tahirah is a newly certified Speech & Language Pathologist with a passion for helping individuals improve their speech, language, and communication skills 👄. A recent graduate from the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine with a Master’s Degree in Speech & Language Pathology 👩🏾‍🎓, Tahirah is dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to children and adults. With experience in both medical and private practice settings, Tahirah specializes in treating speech and language delays, articulation disorders, and communication challenges stemming from neurological conditions. Tahirah is excited to embark on this new chapter, committed to empowering clients and enhancing their quality of life through personalized therapy✨✨.
