The Emotional Bank Account functions like a Financial Bank Account. Your love, time, energy & kindness is the currency. If you keep giving & giving to others but there is no reciprocity; then your emotional bank account will be drained - you will experience emotional bankruptcy. This is where you learn to implement boundaries to protect your mental & emotional wellbeing.
