Sell to the Rich 📌

Last year, we listed three villas on legit, freehold land in Tobago for $200k ttd each.
It was an exceptional value.

We intentionally kept the price low, because we wanted to help people, by creating affordable real estate opportunities.
Instead, we got hesitation and the typical “this sounds like a scam” energy.

Annoyed, we changed the strategy.
We reposted the same properties at $500k each.
It was still a good deal.
This time, our inbox exploded.
And less than 30 days all were sold.
Three lucky individuals walked away with ocean view, income generating assets.
It was the same product.
Different price.
Different perception.

Because here’s the uncomfortable truth most entrepreneurs avoid:

People do not want CHEAP.
What they desire more than saving money is:
Exclusivity.
Status.
Luxury.

This is why the most expensive events in Trinidad sell out first, fetes like CIC, Pinknic, Hyatt Lime.
Versus the cheaper ones, even if they have more artistes or a better lineup.

It’s why iPhones exist and continue to dominate the market. And why people go into lifelong debt to live in certain communities or buy certain vehicles.

Pricing your product is not just about affordability.
It’s about identity. If your business model is built purely on being “affordable,” you’ll work harder, earn less, and struggle longer.

The proof in this story.

This was a real event, that really happened in 2025.
In February 2026, we will have more villas available for sale in a different area. Walking distance to the beach.
We are contemplating starting at around $350kttd.
Still very affordable.
Because this time we will be documenting the process, to share receipts with our real estate students so that they can understand human nature.

Here are 3 business ideas I would definitely implement if I had more time. These would earn big bucks because you would be operating in a "blue ocean" monopoly, rather than competing with other entrepreneurs.

#1📍 Rideshare for Tobago

Transportation is very costly on the island, especially hired taxis. Yet there are no uber type options, only in Trinidad. This one is a no brainer.

#2📍Vacation Nanny (Tobago)

A service that provides trained, background-checked babysitters for folks on holiday. Even on planned family vacations, most couple will still enjoy a little quality time. This service would allow tourists to explore while their kids are safely supervised.

#3📍Turkey Farming (Trinidad and Tobago)

If you are into farming and agriculture, this one is for you. Every year we all buy turkeys for Christmas.
However the vast majority of the ones that we buy are imported. Turkeys can live and be bred in Trinidad and Tobago. This is a low competition but high demand market waiting to be explored.

Long ago, we had warrior kings
The leaders that started or supported conflict, had the fortitude to stand right there beside their people and fight.
That we could respect.
Nowadays, these Presidents and Prime Ministers are very hasty to bring war onto their people, while they sit safely outside of harm's way.
It is my strong opinion, that if the Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago is supporting the US and their military aggression in the Caribbean region, that we petition to ensure that her sons, nephews and members of her family, be the first on the battle field.

This week the police busted and charged men who were hunting iguanas outside of hunting season. The iguanas were released into the wild, which was great news. What's interesting is, just yesterday we had a conversation with a hunter. We asked him, why go through the trouble of hunting, when you can simply invest the same time and energy into breeding?
Globally as a society, we do not hunt for cows, or goat or even chickens. We domesticate and breed them for easy access and ease of business. Wild meat, on the other hand, is only called "wild" because no-one had the initiative to change how we source it. The iguana produces scores of young ones when they reproduce. Instead of hunting and killing hundreds of iguanas in the wild that already help support our natural eco system, an alternative would be to simply capture a male and female and turn it into "livestock" by creating a legitimate animal husbandry business.

𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗛𝗬𝗣𝗢𝗖𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗬 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗬𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗠 #𝗨𝗦𝗔

This world that we live in is full of contradictions.
The very lawmakers and policymakers who tell us how we must live and how we must seek justice, are the same ones that break their own rules when it benefits them. If someone wrongs us or steals from us we are forced into their system. We must get lawyers, file cases, go through courts and wait for a verdict. If we act outside of that and take matters into our own hands, they created a whole word for it: “vigilante justice,” and although innocent, we will be persecuted.

Yet, those same powers, especially the United States are quick to throw their own laws out the window when it comes to enforcing their will on the world. They claim that everyone is “innocent until proven guilty,” but where was the trial when they fired missiles at that boat in the Caribbean, simply because they suspected of carrying drugs from Venezuela? Where is the evidence, the trial or jury? There was none, yet bombs were dropped and people were MURDERED based on mere speculation.

That is not good enough.

But this is the hypocrisy of the system and imperialism. For the small man, they created laws and demand your obedience and reliance on their so called justice system. As a result, they will lock you up, if a nurse gave your child the wrong medication and he dies, and you find where she lives and set fire to her parked car. And they will be quick to charge you, if you throw out the belongings of a tenant that did not pay months of rent and lives in your house for free. But the same people that implemented the laws for you to follow, breaks those laws when it is convenient to their agenda with zero consequence.

Now we are not in agreement with drug trafficking.
We are in agreement with equality and that no man, politician or even President should be above accountability and the law. If a system wants people to follow the rules, then politicians need to set an example or face the same consequences for their actions. When they are caught stealing or mismanaging funds, they should be treated the same way as citizens will be, if they steal something that does not belong to them. When they commit acts of murder without a trial, they should be condemned and punished as every other person would be.

The United States is just an example.
But we experience the same unequal examples of lawlessness in high places right here in T&T.
