As I walk through the Gates.

As the latch clashes back onto the Gates, they come running; the usual welcoming comittee wagging tails with such intensity that their whole butt sways with every swing.

We pet their heads, wait for them to p*e on every plant and walk in together.

We hear happy shrills of laughter and look to see a toddler running to hide behind a great structure he calls 'The uncle'.

On the couch we find them; the ground piled with toys, the tablet playing dougie, the TV playing Marsha and the bear.
The air thick with the smell of curried chicken, masala plums and fresh sada.

'GOOD evening, good evening!!' Ma says after a very long day of tending to plants, cooking, taking care of all the pets and making dhal for a toddler who no longer takes a nap during the day.

We walk into the room to see the boys' bowl filled with clean water.. food containers cleaned and mixed with fresh chicken for what could most likely be the 3rd time for the day; yet they jump and scratch us for thier fav treat they know as 'Snax' (pedigree small dog dental hygeine chews.)

Bowls we may have left in the sink all taken care off, the Jayce clean and his long curly hair washed with patience.

AC's on and cooling in hopes that we would have returned home soon and for the boys to rest comfortably while we get there.

The many stories about the day and the many paintings and drawings a proud uncle has to show us.
We listen, we feel lucky, blessed, happy.

This is how we come 'Home'
This is what makes it all worth it.
Our family.
Our comfort.
Our soft place.

We can try our best to be there for each other as a couple; but without these people; there will be no joy returning home, no peace to manage Happy Melon, no time to run a business.

Life is beautiful.

I am grateful with every little piece of me; I am grateful.
My heart is full.
To be accepted for all that I am. To be loved for being me.
To be understood my a mother in law that I am a working mother. For her hugs, her food, her laughter; just her.
I am grateful.

Don't try hard to fit in; certainly don't try hard to be different; but always try to be the best YOU

Our little boy got his first desk in preparation for his first day of pre-school level 2- real kindergarten.

We are happy, proud and excited for this new chapter.

Our goals are to be there more for study time, to help you understand that failure is sometimes a part of life and handling it well will always make you stronger and ready for success.

We will always appreciate what our little family can accomplish together and we will always push forward harder and stronger TOGETHER.

Being yourself and finding those you accept you for it, definitely brings peace.

Let's praise our kids for all the qualities we love and breathe joy and confidence into their existence.

Jayce love decribing himself in 3 words; funny, cute and smart.
He's many other things of course but that's what he loves the most.

Time goes by quickly. As a working mummy, I already miss so much.
Guilt is a feeling I have everyday especially looking at fun photos of us from the day before.

I know I am working hard for him to he happy and safe; but sometimes I wonder what if I'm all wrong.. what if my time in a tiny house with simple needs met are all that matters.

And then I step back into realtiy; my son deserves the best and I will work hard to balance my life for him.
Time goes by quickly yes, I will make this all worth it!

I know we didn't post in a while.

Gentle parenting isn't the easiest thing to do. It's actually one of the toughest parts about parenting for us.

I must say, it does work and it's wonderful to see your child respected, loved and comforted through meltdowns.

Hi happy people. Ever heard about Hypnobirthing? Hypnobirthing is a birthing method that uses self-hypnosis and relaxation techniques to help a woman feel physically, mentally and spiritually prepared and reduce her awareness of fear, anxiety and pain during childbirth.
I did some research leading up to my delivery and partially did hypbobirthing .. granted when those contraction pains hit you, you really have to keep your mind strong. How was your few days leading up to delivery? How did you handle your labor/ contaction pain?

Hi everyone. I would like to share proper hand washing techniques and to remind everyone to use hand sanitizer as often as you can, cover your mouth when sneezing or coughing, be well informed and teach as many others as you can. Lets protect ourselves, our loved ones and especially our little babies.
