Honored to present “Detect It, Treat It, Beat It,” at the South Cancer Support Group Building, in collaboration with the Trinidad & Tobago Medical Association (T&TMA) and the Caribbean College of Family Physicians (CCFP) Trinidad.

It was a wonderful session discussing how radiology helps in early detection and better outcomes for breast cancer. 💪✨

Bile duct blockage due to cancer of the bile ducts (cholangiocarcinoma) resulting in jaundice can sometimes be difficult to treat and even more challenging to get a tissue sample. As Interventional Radiologists we are sometimes called upon to relieve such blockages with drainage tubes, while concurrently get some tissue for diagnosis with a tiny brush.

Getting a sample from a small growth in the lung using the CT machine…this requires a high degree of co-operation from the patient and precision from the Radiographer….this lung biopsy could not have gone better… 🫁🙏
