What is ‘Anugraha’? You may be wondering what ‘Anugraha’ means. This is a Sanskrit word with many meanings but the words which speak to me the most are ‘grace’ and ‘support’. Anugraha is that grace which is achieved through our own experiences; which supports us as we move through our everyday lives. At Anugraha Yoga we create the space for your experiences to happen.

Day 30 of 's challenge falls on a Sunday... A good day to end a month of daily reflection on what we're grateful for and to spend time thinking about how the month has been.

Our last prompt for 2025's challenge invites us to reflect on the reasons we love ourselves. In her prompt writeup Dani shares, "You bring good things into the world just by being yourself, and today’s the day to celebrate that. Spend time today, if you can, making a list of all of the reasons you’re grateful to be who you are".

I'm taking some quiet time this Sunday night to think about just that - who I am, who I want to be, and how to get there. I invite you to do the same.

What do you celebrate about yourself? What do you love about yourself? Pause, connect to your heart, and rest in this space.

Let us carry this energy of gratitude into December and the new year ✨

What's a goal that you are working towards? Day 29 of 's challenge invites us to appreciate a goal we're working on and the impact that working towards this goal makes on our lives.

I have been working on a memoir. For quite some time now. Word by word, memory by memory. One day it will be a reality.

Until then I give thanks for the family that says, "yes, you should write about this", and for the writing groups and writing friends I have made (yay for 's , sessions, and ).

We're almost to the end of November. A month of gratitude for the small things and big things creates a noticeable shift. In the same way, as we work towards our goals, small or big, let us appreciate the work we have put in and the changes that have come about because of them.

December's meetup of takes place on Tuesday 9th, from 4:00 - 6:00 pm, at .tt - our last one for 2025.

When I first thought of hosting this reading club I wondered if anyone might turn up. From our first meetup in May, to our most recent meetup in November, I've been happy to meet those of you who attend. It's been so peaceful to spend time quietly reading in community, and so interesting to hear about what people are reading.

As we head into the last month of the year I invite you to join us for The Quiet Chapter. Information can be found on my website (anugrahayogatt.com) or feel free to message me!

I have been a bit unwell this week and so for today's prompt for day 27, "Favourite food to eat", of 's challenge I'm sharing my favourite food to eat when unwell.

For as long as I've known myself watermelon has been my go-to when I'm under the weather. Cold, flu, strain, torn ligaments, or anything out of whack in my body is treated with watermelon.

And it works for me - I feel better, more nourished and taken care of.

It's important for us to become aware of what works for our own bodies. What is for some is not for others.

Thankful for watermelon and those who provide me with watermelon when I'm unwell.

What's your favourite food (when unwell or healthy)?

Day 25 of 's challenge invites us to reflect on the magic of the movies but I thought I'd switch it up a bit and share with you some anime that I've watched/been watching.

Anime refers to Japanese animation. I am thankful that it is something my partner and I both love and enjoy watching together.

I'm often impressed by the depth of storytelling, the amount of things one can learn, and the variety of art styles. Sharing here a few of our favourites, feel free to share your favourites with me!

"Art that inspires you" is the prompt for day 24 of 's challenge and there is so much that I can share.

2025 has been a year of exploring my creativity and, as part of that, I've been attending more art exhibitions. Here I am at two solo exhibitions:
🎨 's glass art exhibition, Refraction: Bending Light, Shaping Beauty, held at
🖼️ .art's The Hollows, held at

I've known both artists for some years now and it has been both interesting and inspiring to see how they explore ideas and concepts, and create so much beauty through their art.

Trinidad and Tobago is blessed with creative people and I encourage you to observe how the art that is shared by our artists, writers, performers, and everyday people can inspire you.

Share with me or tag some art or an artist that inspires you!

"Love is a small word for such an enormous concept", writes Dani of as part of today's prompt for day 23 of "Love given or received".

We are invited to reflect on the love currently present in our lives as well as the love we have experienced in the past.

As we are heading into the holiday season I have been thinking about my family, and my mom. Love is made up of many tiny moments, interactions, activities. Time spent together and time spent apart.

Today I give thanks for the good and bad times together - they have helped me grow into who I am today. Today I give love to those around me, more freely than I ever did. Today I continue to work at receiving love with grace.

Every day is an opportunity to give and receive love.

I've been doing 's challenge since 2018 and over the years there's been prompts that are repeated. They allow me the space to observe where my thoughts were on a particular subject and where they are now.

This is the case with day 22's prompt, "A Place You Feel At Home". Last year I shared that home is multiple places and spaces for me. This year I'm sharing three spaces where I feel at home:
🔸On my mat - it's a space I return to, again and again to connect with my breath, my body, heart and mind
🔸My body - this was my first thought when I read today's prompt. I'm now in my 40s and I work at being present in my body with all the changes, the joys and challenges of being human
🔸The ashram - for me "the ashram" is , a space I have been going to since I was a pre-teen, that has helped me to grow, and that I have seen grow

What place feels like home for you? What makes you thankful when you think of home?
