2) Using harsh products and over exfoliating the skin can lead to a compromised skin barrier, which can actually worsen your acne.

3) Picking your acne can introduce bacteria into the skin, leading to inflammation, redness and acne scarring.

4) Always remember to remove your makeup thoroughly before going to bed. Sleeping with makeup on can cause your pores to become clogged and worsen your acne.

Progress pics! We are not done yet, but consistency brings results. ✨This lovely patient struggled with acne and post inflammatory hyperpigmentation for some time. After a consultation, we recommended customised monthly in office treatments and medical grade home care. She was consistent with her treatments, and she now feels confident to go out without makeup. Next, we’d be doing more advanced treatments on her to effectively target the remaining hyperpigmentation. ✨🌸
