The Handstand Level 1 & 2 workshop with teacher Allen has been one of the brightest highlights of my year.
Looking back at the moment I decided to attend the course, I can clearly see that it was a very intuitive and confident “yes,” without any doubt.
On the first day of the workshop, the teacher asked all the students, “Why are you attending this workshop? What do you expect to gain from it?”
I found this question deeply interesting, because my intuitive “yes” was already my “why” — to face and overcome my fear of falling.
What became even more profound was that by the end of the Level 2 course, my understanding of my “why” had evolved and become more refined.
I realized that I was not only learning how to balance on my hands, but also how to find balance in my life.
As the teacher told us, if you push too hard, you will flip over; but if you relax and come to your handstand practice with an open mind, without attachment to the outcome, balance will naturally arise.
Honestly, teacher Allen’s approach to teaching is one of the gentlest I have ever encountered. His easygoing nature feels incredibly refreshing and has inspired me to rethink my own methods and allow more ease and lightness into my practice and teaching.
I’d like to share once again some photos and reflections from the Level 2 backbends workshop.
This project took place in July, and I’ve already shared some photos and videos before, but even now, looking back, it still feels like a meaningful and inspiring experience worth revisiting.
It was truly an honor to guide everyone through advanced backbends step by step, sharing a safe, mindful, and effective approach to the practice.
I hope to create another beautiful session next year and to welcome both familiar and new faces to the class.
You’re also welcome to join my current classes.

Hi Everyone! My name is Irina Love. I’m Russian, living in Taiwan for 12 years. Taiwan is my second home. I’m 39 years old, I also have a daughter, she is 19. She also lives and studies in Taiwan. I work at the manufacturing company, sell the internet solutions for the building of the Data Centers to the Russian market. My hobbies are fire spinning and playing ukulele. Three years ago I found yoga teacher who inspired me to get Yoga Teacher Training and now I also teach yoga in the studio.
I practice and teach yoga because I love it. Yoga brings me joy, makes me feel alive, it ignites creativity and inspire me to keep moving and doing things in my life.
I’m independent woman living abroad, yoga made me stronger, helped me to find more courage to be myself, brought more balance in the stressful life. I believe that sharing my knowledge and shining my light will inspire women and men like me to become better version of themselves.
My mission is to empower, give people practical tools that will help them to be physically and emotionally balanced. I hope to help people to overcome their daily stress and work through their emotions. Bring them back into their bodies, so they could come out of the class feeling inspired and determined.
In my classes I teach people to trust their body intelligence and listen to their inner wisdom. Hope my yoga class will inspire people to fulfill their goals and manifest the life of their dreams. I encourage people to stay strong on their path and become who they want to be.
What is the bigger impact I’m hoping to create in the world? Create a community of the empowered and conscious people who know how to heal themselves and help others to do the same.
