MANIFESTATIONS OF PEPTIC ULCER DISEASE!!!
The following are common symptoms of peptic ulcer disease. When you have the same symptoms below, you should see a doctor for examination and advice, and do the necessary tests to diagnose and treat the disease appropriately or to rule out the disease.
- Epigastric (above navel) abdominal pain: The symptom is almost always present in peptic ulcer disease. Pain can range from uncomfortable, dull, to intense. Depending on the location of the ulcer, the nature of the pain may be slightly different.
- Stomach ulcers: depending on the location of the ulcer, the location and nature of the pain may be different. Usually pain after eating for a few tens of minutes to a few hours. Response to meals and acid-neutralizing drugs is poorer than that of duodenal ulcer.
- Duodenal ulcer: usually appears on fasting or 2-3 hours after meals, pain increases at night, eating or using acid-neutralizing drugs quickly relieves pain.
- Persistent dull pain, intermittent but cyclical and intermittent.
- Possible symptoms: nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, burning sensation, bloating, heartburn.
- During the ulcer, you may lose weight slightly, after the ulcer will return to normal.
