According to Japanese traditions, in order to get the right to cook sushi and rolls for the guests of the establishment, the chef must study for at least 10 years. Now this requirement has been slightly simplified by a 2 year chef studying before getting the right to cook rice. It takes another 3 years to learn to master the art of picking up and slicing fish. And in order to cook rolls with poisonous puffer fish, the chef must obtain the appropriate license.
