Now that it has a new home, NFL fans want to know how to watch Thursday Night Football online for free and where TNF games are streaming throughout the 2022 season.

As its name suggests, Thursday Night Football—often abbreviated as TNF—is the name for National Football League games that broadcast on Thursday nights. FOX was the official network for Thursday Night Football until 2021 when Amazon Prime Video signed an 11-year, $13 billion deal to become the exclusive streaming service for Thursday Night Football. “Live sports continue to be a game changer for Prime members,” Amazon Prime Vice President Jamil Ghani said in a release. at the time. “The value Prime brings to members is now even better with the launch of Thursday Night Football on Prime Video. Amazon Prime Video, however, won’t be included in the five TV networks—CBS, FOX, NBC, ESPN and ABC—who will share the rights to broadcast the Super Bowl. In a 10-year agreement between the NFL and the networks, CBS will air the Super Bowl in 2023, 2027 and 2023; FOX will air the Super Bowl in 2024, 2028 and 2032; NBC will air the Super Bowl in 2025, 2029 and 2033; and ESPN and ABC will air the Super Bowl in 2026 and 2030.

The Thursday Night Football deal also makes Amazon Prime Video the first streaming service to secure an exclusive national broadcast package with the NFL. “‘Thursday Night Football’ will be our first-ever digital package and we are thrilled to exclusively partner with Amazon to bring our games to more fans on more platforms. NFL football drives passionate viewers and Amazon will enable us to continue to grow our fanbase in innovative and compelling ways,” NFL commissioner Roger Goodel said in a press release.

As a dry-skin girlie, I generally look past any “pore-reducing” products because enlarged pores just aren’t one of my issues. Well, it turns out I was missing out this entire time. But I’m not the reason this primer sold out at Sephora. That’s all thanks to TikTok. There are a few reviews I especially like. Henna Ali has textured, acne-prone skin and was impressed by the way So Blown smoothed her skin pre-makeup. Creator loves the formula so much, he says, “There has to be some magic in this product because, what? FaceTune in a bottle.” If you want to see how it grips onto foundation, TikToker shows the dramatic difference when she applies primer to just one side of her face.

Is Serena Joy…a Swiftie? That we’re not sure, but what we do know is that the woman who plays her, Yvonne Strahovski, named Taylor Swift’s 2014 album, 1989, as one of two albums she would listen to for the rest of her life.

In honor of the premiere of The Handmaid’s Tale season five on Hulu, we played a game of “So Candid” with Strahovski where we asked her a variety of random questions—from what her childhood nickname was to the song that always makes her dance (it’s “Endgame” by Taylor Swift, FYI)—as part of STYLECASTER’s “The World of Style” issue.

Strahovski has played Serena Joy, the wife of Commander Fred Waterford and the archnemesis of Handmaid June Osborne, in Hulu’s The Handmaid’s Tale since season one in 2017. In her cover story for “The World of Style” issue, Strahovski explained how she’s seen Serena evolve throughout the show. She goes from one end of the spectrum to the other, and then sits in the middle in that gray area between good and evil, but never quite makes it to the good side. Which is probably why she’s an interesting character to watch,” she said. “Audiences do end up rooting for her, as she and June in past seasons have gotten closer or when she’s shown a friendlier side. Then she just backflips and goes right back into being her true self.”

Strahovski also told STYLECASTER about how it was her “job to humanize” Serena, even if she doesn’t support her actions. “It was difficult for me to come to terms with how evil she was at times and try to justify everything because, at the end of the day, it’s my job to humanize her,” she said. “It’s not like I’m playing a villain for villain’s sake. She’s a woman who is also surviving in a terrible situation.” She continued, “Initially, when we met her way back in the pilot, she didn’t trust Fred. Fred had obviously had an affair with a previous handmaid. She’s got her own bag of things that have wounded her and traumatized her. I’m not saying that’s an excuse, it’s a platform for a regular person having gone through certain things to turn you into something. Serena’s turned into a bit of a monster and like all characters in Gilead, she is surviving in her own way and the only way she knows how to.”

As for season five, Strahovski also teased how Serena and June’s relationship will change after the death of Fred in The Handmaid’s tale season four finale. “Once Serena realizes Fred’s gone for good, the loneliness floods in and becomes full on for her,” she said. “What is she going to do to take charge of her life and really secure herself a space in the world? Where is that going to be? How is that going to play out? Where does she feel safe? ‘What is she going to do to me and my child?’ is the biggest thing in her mind after she finds out June killed Fred. People are dropping out of her life. The absence of all of these people is terrifying to her. She really has to dig her heels in and figure it out. She’s in survival mode now, more than ever.”

Now, this is why you have to be careful about trying beauty hacks from just anyone on TikTok. A creator came on the platform last week to share the way she gets her press-on nails to last until she wants to remove them. The press-on nail hack now has more than 7.8 million views. But it turns out, this trick could actually put you at risk for a serious infection. If you’re going to try it, it’s important to know the risks.

“To whoever started the whole ‘curing press-on nails with Gel X’ I owe you my life,” Savannah Linn says on TikTok. “Because my nails always look so good now for so cheap and I did them at home and it’s so easy. I literally got these press-ons from Urban, gel cured them on and these bi***es will last me until I take ’em off.” Sounds genius, right? Who wouldn’t want their temporary nails to last longer than a few days?

But let’s listen to the professionals here. Nail tech was quick to call this “alarming trend” unsafe. Here’s why. “UV light cannot go through a full cover press-on nail that is colored,” she says. “It needs to be absolutely clear. Sure, you’ll probably get it about 50 percent cured and it’s hard enough and it stays. But 50 percent cured is not fully cured and you are leaving yourself open to developing an allergy to gel products.”

She goes on to explain that most folks on TikTok are using a “flash cure lamp,” which is giving off even less UV light. “Sure, your nails are staying on, but at what cost?” she asks. Amber promises it’s not an “if” but a “when” you’ll develop this reaction and not be able to use gel products in the future. The issue is leaving the uncured gel on your fingers.

Now, you can do this with clear nails, she says. So put them on first and then paint them. But that takes away from all the cool press-on nail styles you can shop.

Other TikTokers are jumping online to share their horror stories after trying this trend. Karissa Wampler. “My nails looked great until they started itching so bad that I had to literally pour almost boiling water on my fingers just to try to ease the pain,” she says. “Then my fingernails were so squishy underneath, they were falling off.” She reiterates what is telling us, that the gel cannot cure through the polished nail and you will develop an allergy, causing you to not be able to get gel nails again. Maybe ever.

Other TikTokers site infections, painful peeling and other icky reactions. We’re going to say it’s best to skip this hack and just use the glue that comes with press-on nails. They might only last about a week but your nails will stay healthy underneath.

Not fair treatment? Archie and Lilibet’s title controversy is getting more heat. After the death of Queen Elizabeth, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are fighting for their children to have royal titles.

The change of titles happened after Queen Elizabeth’s death. Archie and Lilibet are now considered Prince and Princess, however they cannot have the His Royal Highness or Her Royal Highness titles. A source told The Sun, “That is the agreement — they can be prince and princess but not HRH because they are not working royals” The decision comes after “a lot of talks over the past week.” The source continued, “They have been relentless since the Queen died,” and “have been insistent that Archie and Lilibet are prince and princess. But they have been left furious that Archie and Lilibet cannot take the title HRH.”

Meghan first spoke out against the title rules and security for her children in her tell-all Oprah interview in March 2021. Meghan and Harry explained how Archie’s lack of a prince title has led to complications for them with the royal family. “They were saying they didn’t want him to be a prince or princess, which would be different from protocol, and that he wasn’t going to receive security,” Meghan said. “This went on for the last few months of our pregnancy where I was going, hold on for a second.”

According to People, under the current guidelines, the great-grandchildren of the monarch are not princes and princesses except for the children of the eldest son of Prince Charles, who is first in line for the throne. This exception is why Prince William (who is second in line for the throne) and Kate Middleton’s kids are Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. When King Charles inherited the throne, Archie and Lilibet became prince and princess now that Harry is the king’s son.

The Queen died on September 8, 2022, in Balmoral Castle in Scotland. When he was officially proclaimed as monarch, he said in his speech, “I know how deeply you and the entire nation and I think I may say the whole world sympathizes with me in the irreparable loss we have all suffered. It is the greatest consolation to me to know of the sympathy expressed by so many to my sister and my brothers and as such overwhelming affection and support should be extended to our whole family in our loss. To all of us as a family.” He continued, “My mother’s reign was unequaled in its duration, its dedication and its devotion. Even as we grieve we give thanks for this most faithful life. I am deeply aware of this great inheritance and of the duties and heavy responsibilities of sovereignty which have now passed to me.”

Same path. Prince William compared the Queen’s procession to Princess Diana’s funeral. The newly appointed Prince of Wales talked to the public during a walkabout at Sandringham Castle and one mourner revealed that Prince William talked about how the funerals were similar.

The Telegraph reported about the interactions between Prince Harry and the mourners. “He said how difficult it was yesterday and how it reminded him of his mum’s funeral,” said mourner Jane Wells. “Catherine said it’s just been such a difficult time for all of them, for the whole family.” Princess Diana died on August 31, 1997, just over 25 years before the Queen passed away on September 8, 2022.

On September 14, 2022, the Queen’s coffin made a procession from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Hall where the Queen will lay in state for four days before her funeral on September 19, 2022. The Royal Family walked behind the coffin. The path was the exact same route during Princess Diana’s procession in 1997. The then-15-year-old William and 12-year-old Harry walked behind their mother’s coffin in the same exact manner.

Another mourner talked about how Prince William is trying to keep it together for his kids after the death of their great-grandmother. “I told him how I work at a school and how it’s been a strange year celebrating the Jubilee and now it’s all changed and we are talking about this,” Gee told People on September 12, 2022. “He spoke about George, Charlotte and Louis, saying that they were trying to keep some sense of continuity for them at school and keep things as normal as possible.” She continued, “Catherine thanked me, and she said that all the nation were feeling it,” she says. “They were both very kind and gentle and genuine. It was very special—definitely a moment I will always treasure.”

Before the procession, Prince William and his brother Prince Harry had a private dinner in Buckingham Palace with their wives Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle. On September 10, 2022, the couples reunited for the first time in a while for a walkabout outside of Kensington Palace to look at the tributes for the Queen.
