Some athletes try to "feel" confident. Phrases like "I'm not sure how I'm going to perform at this competition" or "I'm sure I can beat this opponent" are prime examples. And this is a big mistake, because confidence is not an emotion and it is impossible to feel it.
Tip 1. Stop feeling confident and start thinking confidently.
Some athletes leave confidence to chance. Hardly any do the same with training or diet. One of the main reasons is not knowing exactly what to do to boost your confidence. There are no magic pills, no quick fixes, but there are certain things that affect it.
