Why do you need a psychologist?

We are here to help people stop arguing with reality.

What does this mean? It's simple. Let me explain where stress comes from.

When I don’t like something, I start to judge and criticize it, using up my energy and getting upset.

For example: I don’t like when people rush onto the subway without letting others get off first. I get frustrated. Why? Because how I want things to be - doesn’t match how they actually are. I think everyone should wait and let people out before getting on, but that’s not how it works in reality. This mismatch causes me stress.

So, let’s think about it together.

Who is most affected by this situation?

- The subway car
- The subway workers
- Me
- people

The correct answer is "me," which means the key lies in my perception of the situation. My perception is based on ideas of "right" and "wrong" (black/white, good/bad), my values, my past experiences, and how adults behaved (which I copied).

This shapes my thoughts, reactions, and actions. In the end, I’m the one who loses, because I wasted my energy getting upset about what’s happening in the subway.

I could have used that energy for something positive.

This applies to everything: kids aren’t the way I want, the world is dangerous, people are unreliable, I feel inadequate... All of this works against us.

These problems weigh us down, limit our perspective (making it hard to see situations from different angles), reduce our flexibility in thinking, hinder our results (fear holds us back), and, most importantly, take away our sense of peace, safety, happiness, and joy in life. And that’s really important.

That’s why psychologists exist—to help change how people perceive things.

The world loves us very much and constantly shows it 🩵

These little joys are everywhere, you just need to notice them - I'm sure that every day has a reason to enjoy, sometimes you just need to look closer.

It turned out that negativity became 3-7 times stronger than positive moments.

Why?

We were simply instilled, taught - warned through fear, programmed to be overly cautious "just in case"...

Instead of saying words of support, that you can rely on world, people, that everything will work out, I believe in you.

🌱To blossom, someone must help us shed all the sticky past 🌸

And first and foremost, it's you.

Yes, you reading this post - it's within your power to simply admit that you're tangled up, tired of being strong, and you just need help.

I understand how hard it is to just say okay, I give up, and I no longer have the strength to maintain my own illusion and wear the masks of a happy person. I want to truly breathe and live the life of my dreams ✨

Let me explain why I mentioned the past here 👇

The past programs our future 🔮 because we carry our previous experiences into our present life, into today - which is unique and definitely not the same as it was yesterday.

The past colors our thoughts, actions, and self-perception in the tone that emerged from past experiences. And we don't even notice how we make decisions based on what we had in past.

"Ah, this situation is similar to that one in 2021, I've been through this before - let me handle it this same way" - that's what people mostly think.

BUT 🤯

You can't build a new future on the old past!

And this is something you can and should work on too, reevaluate your attitude and reactions to life events from the past.

You can't hop in a time machine and change everything, but you can see the situation from a different - brighter and more useful - perspective and remove the traumatic experience.

This is something what I also do with my clients, and I see their positive results.

I've been through this myself and I took myself in hand, turned to a specialist who, through care, guided me and helped me, yes, through pain, yes, through labor - but it was definitely good decision 💯

This is where my desire to study this profession and become a specialist in the field of psychology originated.

"A case from practice and the construction of a client’s request made me think that this topic is very important and interesting.

❗Ask this question to yourself and feel the answer❗

What is happiness for you, and how do you experience it?

Helpful questions for deeper understanding:

What do you need to feel happy?
What is your source of happiness?
How do you experience joy?
What can make you happy?

Take a piece of paper and a pen; write down everything that comes to mind instantly, without much thought.

People often come to me with the request “I want to be happy or I want happiness,” and in many cases, this somehow depends on some external factors.

Weather, children, finances, having an apartment, a car, to travel, relationships... when I achieve, receive, open, get rid of - then the desired state of happiness will come, or if this had not happened, it would have been different, then I would be happy.

There is often a condition that makes your state of happiness dependent on external circumstances - and this is a fundamentally endless process, very difficult to achieve and energy-consuming. We set a condition and become dependent on it.

Usually, in the overwhelming majority, we look at a situation from one perspective or two... 🫣

🛞Now, imagine a cube - it has 6 faces... In other words, you can view a situation from a whole six different sides

🛞And if you look more closely - it has 8 vertices, meaning 8 more possibilities

🛞Plus, it has 12 edges, corresponding to another 12 perspectives

🛟Moreover, this is just from the outside!!!

🛟You can also change the angle, light, time, space, distance, color and so on.
