On 30-31 October 2024, a Scientific and Practical Conference Involving Young Scientists « Organizational and Applied Aspects of Clinical and Preventive Medicine in View of Contemporary Challenges and Threats: Problems and Prospects of Innovative Development» will be held.
The conference is organized by the State Institution of Science «Center of innovative healthcare technologies» State Administrative Department, the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, Educational and Scientific Center «Institute of Biology and Medicine» of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and the Public Organization «Ukrainian Association of Healthcare Management» (Kyiv, Ukraine).

ARTICLE FORMATTING REQUIREMENTS FOR PUBLICATION IN THE JOURNAL «WIADOMOŚCI LEKARSKIE. MEDICAL ADVANCES»
OF ALUNA PUBLISHING HOUSE
ATTENTION! The number of articles is limited. Preference is given to articles with co-authors from abroad. If the article presents the results of a local study (in a particular city or in Ukraine), it is mandatory to compare them with data from international practice. The title of the article and the aim of the study should not include the city or country.
ATTENTION! The scientific papers submitted for participation in the conference will be published on condition of a positive opinion based on the results of the review and verification by the anti-plagiarism programme.
Only articles in English are accepted
The paper has to comply with the requirements of the Helsinki Declaration
FORMATTING REQUIREMENTS FOR ORIGINAL ARTICLES
The volume of scientific articles, including figures, tables and references, should not exceed 21,600 characters with spaces (12 pages of typewritten text).
The text is typed in TimesNew Roman, 12-point font, double-spaced on A4 size (210 × 297 mm).
Page margins on all sides are 2.5 cm (left, right, top, bottom).
Pages are to be numbered.
The title page (not included in the article volume limit) should include:
1. Full title of the work.
2. Name of the author (or authors) – first name, then the first letter of the patronymic and surname (for example: Inna A. Ivanenko).
Number of co-authors in the original article – no more than 7.
3. Name of the institution, higher education institution (institutions, establishments), city, country.
THE ORIGINAL ARTICLES SHOULD BE STRUCTURED AS FOLLOWS:
An abstract of an original article should contain not less than 150 and no more than 250 words. Abstracts of original articles should be structured, i.e. should contain such sections as:
The aim,
Materials and methods,
Results,
Conclusions.
Key words – 3-5 according to Index Medicus (Medical Subject Reading).
Keywords should not repeat the title of the article.
Text of the original article
The text should be structured as follows:
Introduction,
The aim,
Materials and methods,
Results,
Discussion,
Conclusions,
References.
ATTENTION! When determining the total volume of the article (21600 characters with spaces), the text of the article should be taken into account, starting with the ‘Introduction’ section, including tables, figure captions, and ending with the last source of literature.
In the Introduction, the current state of the subject is presented.
In the Aim, the research hypothesis and objectives of the study are defined.
In the Materials and methods section, all research methods are described and data on compliance with the principles of bioethics are provided. At the end of the section, also should be detailed the information on statistical data processing (software packages used, presentation of quantitative and qualitative data, description of biostatistical procedures, etc.)
In the Results section, the results of the study should be presented.
In the Discussion, the authors indicate to what extent the scientific objectives have been achieved, the extent to which the results of the work are original, as well as its potential methodological limitations and prospects. In this section, it is mandatory (!!!) to make references to existing literature on the subject of the study – in the context of comparing the original results with the data of other authors. The minimum volume of the Discussion section is 1 page of printed text!!!
In the Conclusions, the objectives of the study should be referred and discussed.
Data on compliance with the principles of bioethics!!!
The text of the article should include information on compliance with the principles of bioethics, citing particular documents (e.g., the Declaration of Helsinki, national regulations, etc.), as well as an indication of the voluntary consent of patients to participate in the study (signing of informed consent). In the case of experimental or pathomorphological studies, the main regulatory documents that were taken into account during their bioethical review should be cited.
Data on compliance with the principles of bioethics should be indicated in the Materials and methods section or at the end of the article.
REFERENCES
A list of references is provided at the end of the article.
Literary sources, the originals of which are presented in Cyrillic, should be transliterated into Latin and translated into English (example below).
The number of references in the original article should not exceed 30.
NOT LESS THAN ONE-THIRD OF THE LITERARY SOURCES SHOULD BE REPRESENTED FROM THE LAST 5 YEARS (!!!)
The formatting of the literature should meet the requirements of Index Medicus:

Each item should be written on a new line, numbered, and include: surname and initials of the author(s), title of the article, name of the journal in which it was published (abbreviations of journal names should correspond to Index Medicus), year of publication, number (in Arabic numerals), numbers of the first and last pages, doi number.
If there are seven or more authors, the names of the first three should be written with the notation ‘et al.’. References in the text, in square brackets, should be given in Arabic numerals.
When citing a book, indicate the following item number, author, title, publisher, place and year of publication. When referring to the text of a chapter, be sure to indicate the following: author's surname, initials, chapter title, author's (editor's) surname, initials, book title, publisher, place and year of publication, pages.

Tables and figures
Tables and figures should be integrated into the text of the article and numbered: tables – with Roman numerals, figures – with Arabic numerals.
References in the text of the article to tables are given in Roman numerals, to figures – in Arabic numerals.
Pictures and photographs (with titles and notes) must be created in one of the following formats: * .cdr, * .tif, * .eps, * .gif or * .jpg (quality – not less than 300 dpi).
In the text of the article, it is necessary to indicate the position of tables and figures, indicating their number.
Rules of article reviewing
Author's versions written in non-compliance with the requirements will not be accepted for review. Incomplete manuscripts or those that do not meet the requirements will be sent back to the authors without assessing the substance and quality of the work.
Articles that have no issues are sent to independent reviewers.
Scientific papers are evaluated in terms of relevance, scientific novelty, and importance for further research and clinical practice.
The paper will be accepted for publication only after receiving positive feedback from the reviewers.

Abstracts should match the theme of the conference. Languages: Ukrainian, English. Abstracts are printed in 1 interval, in Times New Roman font, 12. The text of abstracts should not contain figures, tables, formulas and references to literature. The text of abstracts should not exceed 2500 characters including spaces. The file name should contain the author's surname in English (for example: Ivanenko.doc).
