Set Your Mind Higher

Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. (Colossians 3:2, NIV)

Sometimes when people look toward the future, they don’t see how they will ever rise higher or fulfill their destiny. That’s because they are looking at things in the earthly, natural realm. But if we’ll set our minds higher, if we’ll set our minds on things above, we will have a different perspective.

We walk by faith and not by sight. In other words, we have to believe it before we’re ever going to see it. If we walk only by what we see in the natural realm, we can easily allow circumstances and fear to keep us from moving forward. But when we set our minds higher, we are walking by faith, and we can see things God’s way.

Make the decision to set your mind on things above. Focus on the good things God has in store. Be determined to close the door on fear and doubt and choose to listen to that inner prompting of the Holy Spirit. Walk and live by faith and set your mind on higher things!

Why peer mentorship?

Psychologist Judith Rich Harris proposes the Group Socialization Theory in her somewhat controversial book “The Nurture Assumption: Why Children Turn Out the Way They Do.” This theory puts forward the idea that young people's’ life decisions are mostly influenced by their friends and are only marginally influenced by their parents.

Harvard psychologist Howard Gardner states in his book Changing Minds that by about age 10 a child’s peers rather than the parents assume primary importance in the child’s decisions about what to do. They are, he says, inclined to imitate those peers. This has become almost conventional wisdom in a lot of psychology schools.

Help yourself, your close friend(s) or child(ren) to find positively impacting mates, or else's they'll find their own who's impact you won't like!

Ranging from general medical diagnosis
Laboratory tests
Orthopedic services
Rehabilitation (Physio and Occupational therapy)
Radiology (Ultrasound scan)
Opthalmic services (eye clinic)

We shall also go to other sectors like
Legal aid services
Education
Financial literacy trainings
Agronomic mindset inculcation

Good afternoon brethren!

Let's share a little about one of the *lifting factors in operation of the kingdom of God

This is simply, understanding God!
We will basically need to only know two things about this God!
👉 His nature
👉His will

Understanding the nature of God enables us to know how to handle Him! For example, knowing that
Psalms 103:8 says that The LORD [is] merciful and gracious, Slow to anger, and abounding in mercy.
You'll be able to approach Him without fear.

Brethren, knowing the will of the Lord gives us ability to overcome so much and have triumph to the glory of the Lord
Daniel 11:32"........... but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out [great exploits.] This calls us upon to know our God on a personal basis, not the God of your father, pastor or priest, but YOUR OWN GOD!

QN: HAVE YOU IDENTIFIED GOD AS YOUR OWN??

And secondly knowing His will enables us to understand the mode of operation of the Kingdom, this Christ Himself has respected!
Check
John 4:34 Jesus said to them, "My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work. As in this is all He was committed to!

Actually Scripture in Matthew 12:50 says that it's only those who do and move in this will that are a family with our Lord Jesus Christ!
Matthew 12:50 For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is My brother and sister and mother."
Worse more, Apostle Paul talking to the Ephesians about this will of God, identifies whoever doesn't move in this will as unwise!
Ephesians 5:17 Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord [is.]

Beloved, seek to know the nature of God on a personal basis, and as well know His will!!

Glory be to the Father, and to the son and to the son and to the Holy Spirit, Amen

UNDERSTANDING THE MINISTRY GIFT OF EVANGELISM
(Ephesians. 4:1-11, Isiah.61:1-2) by Papa Eselu Emmanuel(Diocese of Kampala, Southern Archdeaconary Youth Chairperson)

Evangelism is fundamental in a church, that if it's weak, the church never grows!
Evangelism is extending the message/Gospel of Christ to those who haven't known the Christ!!
On Christ's ascension, he commissions the Apostles to extend his Gospel,*thank God Christ went!! Because when He was here, all the people would just reach out to Christ Himself! Whereas he would reach out physically to a few at a time, so we're called to go and partner with Christ sharing this word!

So we ought to have a well vast understanding of this God, so as we can be able to tell him about others!

Proverbs. 4:18 the light ought to shine everytime, not only for a single day! What's the measure of your light?

An Evangelist, identifies, develops, and disciples others (help them understand their gifts,and reason for life,and reasons for salvation)

An evangelist is supposed to live in the words, deeds, and walk in the standard of the word. As Christ has portrayed, because we mirror Him!
All-time preparedness is essential in the life of an evangelist.

Am evangelist, ought not to fear talking about this, and that for fear to lose congregations. Devoting all their time and work to that!
Evangelism isn't supposed to be a timely thing, or restricted to a given area, wherever one goes, they're meant to establish that one new altar!

Zephaniah 3:19-20

And I will deal severely with all who have oppressed you. I will save the weak and helpless ones; I will bring together those who were chased away. I will give glory and fame to my former exiles, wherever they have been mocked and shamed. On that day I will gather you together and bring you home again. I will give you a good name, a name of distinction, among all the nations of the earth, as I restore your fortunes before their very eyes. I, the Lord, have spoken!"
