The Alliance for Policy and Health Economics (APHE) is a consortium ofprofessionals with a shared background of Health Economics. The APHE isfounded on the principle of knowing the cause of things - "rerum cognoscerecausas " with a view to shape, reshape and transform health systems in fragile andresource constrained contexts.
Health systems in fragile and resource constrained settings are often afflicted bypervasive weaknesses across all the health system building blocks. The APHE provides technical assistance to ameliorate these weaknesses which otherwisepose significant barriers to sustainable and equitable access to essential healthservices.
