ChrysantheMoms Inc.

ChrysantheMoms Inc. ChrysantheMoms began with one mom’s vision to make life a little easier for other moms walking a similar path.

🌼 ChrysantheMoms is all about creating a nurturing and empowering space for women and children 🌼 We are so excited to support you on your journey to recovery from addiction and other challenges! 💪✨ Heidi, a single mother of four and a woman in long-term recovery, recognized the challenges mothers in Harford County face trying to balance sobriety, parenting, work, and everyday life. In 2023, what began as an idea for monthly support groups and occasional mommy-and-me outings blossomed into ChrysantheMoms , a growing organization dedicated to supporting mothers in recovery. Soon after its formation, ChrysantheMoms was invited to provide coordination for Harford County’s Family Recovery Court and Truancy Court programs. In April 2024, The Lily House opened, offering a home focused on healing, reunification, and recovery, and ChrysantheMoms expanded to provide peer support for families in early recovery or struggling with addiction. Around the same time, Hailey’s Closet was launched to provide clothing to anyone in need across Harford County. Heidi brings both lived experience and professional expertise to her work. With a background in early childhood education, six years of teaching in Baltimore City, and seven years in the nonprofit field, she also serves as the Family Recovery Court Coordinator in Harford County. At its core, ChrysantheMoms walks alongside mothers as they heal, grow, and rebuild their families, offering support, resources, and programs designed so recovery and motherhood can thrive together.

Huge thank you to Revival for Recovery Inc. for hosting Paint Fields & Flourish 💛

It was such a good day! Women in recovery coming together, relaxing, painting, and just being in the moment. So much creativity and connection, and the artwork turned out beautiful.

Thank you to Firefly Farm for sharing your space with us. And honestly, one of the best parts was our ChrysantheMoms kids being kids ...fresh air, painting, and new friendships all around.

Just a really special day we’re grateful for 🌿

During Women's History Month, we are reminded of how powerful it is when women come together to support one another.

Collaboration between women and community partners creates spaces where healing, encouragement, and growth can truly happen. When women believe in each other, stand beside each other, and share their strengths, it builds confidence, restores hope, and reminds every woman that she is not alone on her journey.

Women supporting women is more than a moment , it's a movement that strengthens our communities and empowers the next woman to rise.

📢 Parents & Community Partners!!

Did you know some schools in Harford County Public Schools offer the Roots Project by Ashley?

These programs are designed to support students who may be impacted by addiction in their families or communities, while also creating a safe space for students to connect with peers and trusted adults.

The Roots Project focuses on helping students build leadership skills, confidence, accountability, healthy decision-making, and positive relationships.

Through mentoring, peer support, and open conversations, students learn skills that help them grow both in school and in life.
Programs like this help students feel supported, strengthen the school community, and remind young people that they are not alone.

Today we want to give a huge shout-out to Matt, one of our Family Recovery Court participants, who is celebrating one full year of recovery today.

Matt came to Family Recovery Court in April of 2025 as he was beginning a new chapter in his life. As he was leaving treatment, he entered a Daddy and Me program with the goal of reunifying with his two children.

From the very beginning, Matt committed himself fully to the process. He chased his recovery the same way many of us once chased our addiction, with determination, consistency, and focus. He showed up, he was honest and vulnerable, and he took the suggestions that were given to him.

Matt utilized every opportunity available to him. He engaged in programs, accepted wraparound services, and made the most of the support that was offered through Family Recovery Court ,12 step fellowship and the Serenity Sista's program .

Through that program, Matt began the reunification process with his children. What started as weekly visits slowly grew into longer visits, extended time together, and eventually overnight visits. Step by step, Matt continued to show that he was committed not only to his recovery, but to being the father his children deserve.

And as we often say in recovery, it works if you work it and Matt definitely worked it.

Because of his dedication and hard work, Matt was eventually fully reunified with his children and granted full custody of both of them. Along the way he also found employment, built stability, and most recently even purchased a brand new truck.

Matt’s journey is proof that when someone is willing to be open, take suggestions, and surround themselves with support, recovery is possible.

Today we celebrate Matt and the incredible work he has done over the past year.

Congratulations on one year of recovery, Matt and welcome to year two.

Year two won’t always be easy, but today you have something you didn’t have before: a strong support system, a foundation in recovery, and people who believe in you. Because of that, we know you’re going to keep moving forward.

We are incredibly proud of you!

We are so incredibly proud of this Mama 💜

Lacey came to us as a resident in November 2024 determined to rebuild her life. It hasn't been an easy process but through her hard work and perseverance, she regained custody of her daughter and has since stepped into our House Manager position, now handling the administrative duties of the home.

Today, she is balancing full time work, single mom life and attending cosmetology school and is now accepting clients at Aveda Cosmetology School as she pursues her dream career.

If you are looking for a haircut, highlighting, a blowout, or a facial, book with Lacey at Aveda and support this amazing young woman as she continues building her future.

We are so proud of you, Lacey❣️
