About Me
I am licensed by the state of Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor (2019). I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and minor in Business Management from Hardin Simmons University (2014) then earned a Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and Clinical Counseling from Hardin Simmons University (2016).
Before private practice, my experience includes working with children and adolescents for 8+ years. I have previously worked for Serenity House in drug prevention and education for children and adolescents. I have also worked at Betty Hardwick Center, where I provided crisis services, comprehensive intakes, skills training, and case management.
I work with children, adolescents, couples, individuals, and families. I am passionate about helping others and educating about mental health. I truly believe in the power of hope, connection, and support and strive to provide a counseling environment where all clients feel safe, valuable, and supported.
In addition to work, I volunteer with Hendrick Hospice Club Courage and Camp Courage in working with children and adolescent grief. I also volunteer and am a representative of Mental Health of America Abilene (MHAA) whose mission is to, “provide leadership and support for hope, recovery, and mental wellness for all.”
