Come catch your breath and be gently led into stillness.
Today’s session is rooted in the comforting and restorative promises of Psalm 23, reminding us that we don’t have to strive—our Shepherd leads, restores, and protects.

We’ll begin by grounding ourselves in the present moment, setting an intention to release control and receive peace.

We’ll move through calming breathwork rhythms designed to:
• Soothe your nervous system
• Reconnect you to your body
• Create space for the Spirit to move
Each breath will be woven with affirmations and verses.

You’ll be invited into a few gentle movements or a posture of rest—whichever your body needs today. No experience needed.

Closing our time will include a Spirit-led journey through your body using Psalm 23 as a scriptural guide for release, comfort, and healing.

The breath is God’s original rhythm placed within us.
It’s the first thing we did when we came into this world—
and often the last thing we remember to notice in a busy day.

But when we return to the breath, something shifts.
Our heart rate slows.
Our nervous system softens.
Our minds clear.
Our body begins to heal.

Breath is how the body feels safe again.
It’s how we come home.

Our hearts are heavy as we grieve with the Hill Country. The recent flood has taken lives, homes, and a sense of stability from so many. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, heartbroken, or simply numb—you’re not alone.

In times like these, we often pour out until there’s nothing left. But even now, especially now, we need moments to pause, breathe, and receive the comfort God longs to give us.

The new Catch Your Breath class schedule begins this week; the Lord already knew we'd need it. These classes are gentle, guided spaces to release tension, reconnect with your breath, and invite God’s peace into the ache.

Please join us Sunday at 5:00pm or Tuesday at 12:15 or 6:00pm.

This week, classes are donation-based, and all funds raised will go to benefit families affected by the flood.

This past week, I caught myself responding out of fear — not peace, not presence, not a sound mind. Just fear.
Maybe you’ve been there too — reacting before breathing, trying to hold it all together, feeling scattered on the inside even if you look calm on the outside.

Fear shows up in our bodies before it ever comes out of our mouths.
But we don’t have to stay there.

That’s why I’m creating space again this Tuesday for a guided breath class — a moment to realign, recenter, and be led back to calm, grounded presence.

🕊️ “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” – 2 Timothy 1:7

Let’s practice returning to that truth — not just with our thoughts, but with our breath and our bodies.

Honored to have spent the morning with some phenomenal kids walking through grief at Camp Courage this morning.
We learned how breath and movement guides your brain gently from 'go mode' to 'calm mode' - we swayed as trees in the wind, moved our bodies like waves in the ocean and settled into a portion of slow breathing and affirmations to close it out. They walked away with tools to heal. I am incredibly humbled to have been a resource for them.
And it's personal too! When my own children lost their first of 3 grandparents in 2019 we found healing through Club Courage that ran during the school year.
Thankful to give back!
