I love how much God has renewed my mind & transformed my heart; by far having a real relationship with God is the literal “GAME CHANGER” that any of us are in need of. 🥹

Ditch the self help books & pick up the Bible ~ ask God to open the eyes of your understanding, so that you can experience the goodness of being renewed + transformed every time you open it. 🕊️

Psalm 49:20 “Mankind, with his assets but without understanding, is like the animals that perish.”

Whew, that verse just hit hard. 😅 It brings to mind another verse Matthew 16:26
“For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world [wealth, fame, success], but forfeits his soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?”

Why do we spend the majority of our hours wrapped up in the temporal? Why not look up today & seek the eternal? And maybe you’re thinking….literally look up? What does seek the eternal mean? If it helps to literally look up, then I say do it, but keep in mind as you do that if He who lives in you has been invited to abide in you then you don’t actually have to look up ~ you go within ~ you get silent & listen to Him, He will speak. Eternal is He who made you & I. He is the beginning & the end ~ He will never change, never leave nor forsake you.

We are here not to serve ourselves, but instead to serve others. We are here not to serve only to serve others to secretly serve ourselves. We are here to serve Him through our thoughts, words, & actions ~ humble obedience to the one that gave us breath. We only are able to work because we’ve been given by Him the ability to do so, so why spend another moment caught up in this world that will only lead you further astray? Come out of darkness & into His marvelous light. 🕊️

As we look into a new year & what it holds; there is no doubt God has already made a way, yet today & every day we must decide to do our part, to pick up our cross & to die unto the flesh, so that we may be led by the power of His Holy Spirit. Read Jeremiah 29:11 & write it upon your heart. ❤️

I’m going to do my best to upkeep this page to tend to it, so that it can be a place where He is found. 🕊️

Overlooked?

Have you ever felt like God sees everyone else but you? Like your prayers go unheard, your dreams unnoticed, and your heartache ignored? It’s hard when you’re waiting, hoping, and longing—yet it seems like heaven is silent. It can feel like you're alone.

But can I remind you of something? God is not in the business of forgetting His children. He sees you. He knows your name. He collects every tear (Psalm 56:8), and He is working even when you can’t see it (John 13:7).

Joseph was forgotten in prison. David was overlooked by his own family. Hagar felt abandoned in the wilderness. But God had a plan for each of them, and He has one for you too. It's satan who wants us to feel like we are "the only one" facing a particular problem, but God desires for us to be in community with one another so that we know we are never the only one and we are never alone.

I heard my pastor say it makes no sense that any one of us would be the only person that God ever ignored, overlooked, or refused to hear in all of history. What a peace that truth can bring!

If you’re feeling unseen today, hold on. The God who formed you has not lost sight of you. Your breakthrough, your healing, your answer—it’s coming in His perfect time. ❤️
