Kaamilo Hale’s owner is a registered nurse, experienced in geriatric care, ICU and hospice. With her added experience and care, we focus our care on quality of life, importance of quality sleep, symptom management, preventative care, and she develops a focused care plan and treatment plan for each individual resident, with consultation of their doctors. Enjoyment and quality of life is our mission, throughout the continuum of your life. Age in place and become part of our Ohana and our hearts. We put an importance on holistic approach, to attempt to prevent complications and symptoms. In this aspect, we have massage therapy, sleep protocols, aromatherapy, animal therapy, and an individual approach to spiritual and personal goals. Our resident’s advocate promotes meaningful and purposeful activities to enjoy like physical activities, exercise, outdoor activities, arts and crafts, games, gardening, and clubs that continue to grow and change around what our current residents enjoy. Savor nutritious, fresh, flavorful foods that are specially designed with a nutritionist and RN, who focus on healthy yet quality of life. Enjoyment of the foods we love is the highlight, with a nutritious focus behind the scenes. Substitutes are offered if you have a hankering for something different. Visiting hours policy: We don’t have one. This is your home, and family and friends are always welcome. As long as they are respectful and acknowledge appropriate times of the day that don’t disrupt sleep, then come on in. Nitty Details: Our community is a very pleasant and convenient place for family, friends, and residents alike. There are nearby restaurants, shopping, hospital, and several medical clinics. A bus stop is conveniently located just at the end of our driveway. Plenty of street parking in front of and behind the care home, and in our 3-car driveway. It is the first exit off the highway, so you miss most of the west bound traffic in the afternoon!
