Their commitment to supporting employment and inclusion for people with disabilities mirrors our mission to promote belonging and person‑centered skill‑building. We loved supporting another organization that is creating opportunities for inclusive employment! ☕

CCTVs (Closed-Circuit Televisions) make a powerful difference. They use a stand‑mounted or handheld camera to project a magnified, high‑contrast image onto a screen. By enlarging text, sharpening details and enhancing contrast, these devices help individuals use their remaining vision to its fullest.

Different models offer features like:
- Adjustable magnification to zoom in on text or images
- High‑contrast color modes to make words stand out
- Reading and writing space under the camera for signing documents or filling out forms

These features empower people to use their vision more effectively and maintain independence in their daily lives.

At UDS, we provide hands‑on demonstrations so individuals can explore different types of CCTVs and find the right fit for their needs. If you or someone you know could benefit from low vision technology, we’re here to help, go to our website and click “Low Vision Services”!
