"Working at Restore has given me the opportunity to help others in the same way I was helped when I first walked through these doors. Today, I have the privilege of guiding others as they pursue Christ and seek the transformation they so deeply desire. Since joining Restore, I’ve been able to dive into God’s Word more than ever before and help other men discover what it means to live with a biblical worldview.
I came to Restore as a resident, hoping to get sober and return to my ‘old life.’ But what I’ve experienced since then can only be described as true transformation. My life today is filled with new devotions, renewed passions, and a joy that can only be explained by faith in Christ. The changes I’ve seen in the past year make no sense apart from the work of God."

This is Mack, one of the men who recently made the decision to get baptized! In his own words:
“I was broken and had walked so far from God. I don’t have the power to put the pieces back together, but Jesus does. Since coming to Restore, my heart is slowly being put back together. I got baptized because faith in Jesus Christ is the only way for me! My public expression of faith and the joy I expressed may help bring others to Jesus.”

We’re continuing to celebrate the four residents who were baptized this past Sunday — each one a testimony of surrender, healing, and the life-changing power of Christ. 🙌

Meet George. After four months at Restore, he says he now has “peace and joy in my heart,” and he’s discovered a sense of purpose. God has given him his family back — and even a new one here at Restore.

When asked why he chose to be baptized, George shared:
“To surrender it all to God and let Him guide me to the right path for my life. I wanted to give it all to Him and become a better son, brother, and follower of God. I was going to wait until I went home so my family could be there, but I felt the Holy Spirit telling me I was ready.”

George, we’re celebrating your obedience and boldness. Your story is a beautiful reminder that God’s timing is always right — and He meets us right where we are. 🙏

This past Sunday, we had the joy of witnessing four of our residents take the step of baptism — publicly declaring their faith in Jesus and the new life they’ve found in Him. 🙌💧

Each story is powerful, personal, and a beautiful reflection of God’s grace at work — this is Chad's story.

“I was baptized at 10 years old when I didn't know much about God, and then I spent the next 40 years ignoring and avoiding Him. I know now that He was always present and chasing after me. He finally got tired of me doing things my way, so he sat me down here at Restore to show me His way. Now I have a personal relationship with Jesus, and getting baptized is a way to express my faith, commitment, and surrender to Him.”
