Did you know that bottle manufacturers can literally say whatever they want about their bottles?
The only thing regulated is disclosing the materials their product is made of.
The "anti colic" "just like mom" "natural rhythm of feeding" “PREVENTS NI**LE CONFUSION” is all marketing, and nobody is checking what's printed on the box.
That is INCREDIBLY frustrating for parents and as a professional whose main goal is to help you feel confident I am doing extra training right now to better serve families who plan to or find they need to include bottles in their feeding journey so their marketing strategies don't complicate things for you and your baby.

You'll be hearing me talk more about continuity of care this year. It's something I feel pretty strongly about and am so excited to start offering for families in Northeast Ohio.
Here's what it means in real life:
It means you don't have to re-tell your story every time you need support.
It means I know your pregnancy.
I know your birth.
I know the things that keep you up at night.
I know your baby.
I know what you're carrying emotionally.
It means when you text and say "this feels hard", I already understand all the layers.
It is steady support instead of starting over.
and for so many tender postpartum seasons, that steadiness can change everything.

There’s a quiet little group of mothers who gather each month, babies in arms, questions half-formed, just trying to find their footing again.
No one expects you to have answers here.
You can come late.

You can sit and listen the whole time if that’s all you have in you.
