In August we are focused on getting involved with the community and service work! We will be participating in events with ARC Recovery Services - Just A Dad From Akron - The JADFA House - Skypoint Recovery - if any of the organizations in the recovery community have events happening we would love to be apart of them!

Last night we got to go to the Akron RubberDucks game for our alumni event! It was great to see everyone and their loved ones! Great fireworks to end the night - this is what recovery is all about ⚾️

We had such a great time at the alumni event last night! We ate, we laughed and got to be inspired by Brody’s story - this is what recovery is all about! We are so excited to host the Summit County Turning Point Program Alumni Group tonight at The JADFA House!

Tonight is all about celebrating recovery, community, and transformation. It’s a chance to “Meet the Alumni” and hear stories of perseverance, growth, and healing.

This event is made possible thanks to the collaboration between Turning Point, and the OneOhio Recovery Foundation.

What is Turning Point Court?

Turning Point is Summit County’s specialized Recovery Court, designed to offer individuals struggling with substance use an alternative to incarceration. Instead of punishment, participants are given an opportunity to engage in intensive treatment, personal development, and long-term recovery support.

Turning Point provides structure, accountability, and most importantly hope. With a dedicated team of judges, case managers, and recovery professionals, this program has changed and saved countless lives in our community.

To all involved in the Turning Point Program: thank you.
