Lisa is a vibrant yet grounded psychotherapist with many years of counseling experience and a solid therapeutic background treating issues of addiction, codependency, PTSD , trauma, grief/loss, and families in transition. She has worked in several outpatient rehabilitation clinics educating individuals and their families about addiction, recovery and transition. She also worked many years in the education setting with students and their families on issues pertaining to mood, anxiety, stress, ADHD, addiction, self-harm, spectrum disorders, and special needs. Lisa primarily uses an IFS and systems framework when working with clients.

Today's tear- jerker (worth the 4 min read!) 🥹 an illustrative story of how a Chinese family honors a black family 85 years later. Both families - heavily discriminated against in colonialist, white America - join in solidarity and create a loving, lasting legacy to honor the truth of history.

The D**g family will donate around $5 million to San Diego State University after selling the California home they first rented from Gus and Emma Thompson.

Our nation has lost a unifier. A great one.

Former First Lady Rosalynn Carter was a tireless humanitarian dedicated in support for equal and equitable rights for all marginalized communities regardless of gender, race, class, sexual orientation or disability. She focused specifically on mental health advocay throughout her activist life. She leaves behind an important legacy in her work to destigmatize mental health.
