🚨 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT for ASCs 🚨
Big changes are coming to outpatient care delivery!
Beginning January 1, 2026, CMS is expanding the Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC) Payment System in a major way.
👉 547 new procedures have been added to the ASC-payable list — dramatically increasing what ASCs can offer under Medicare.
👉 This expansion includes procedures previously limited to hospital outpatient departments and even some from the inpatient-only list.
👉 ASCs will also see a 2.6% payment increase under the final rule.
This update represents a significant shift toward expanding patient access, lowering healthcare costs, and empowering ASCs with greater clinical capabilities.
