VocalEase

VocalEase Clear communication is our business. At VocalEase, we teach clear communications skills.

Non-native speakers are trained to pronounce American English with more clarity and confidence by teaching them to articulate the sounds they do not know and to effectively use pitch, the music of English. Additionally, they learn to speak at a rate that increases understandability. We also teach presentation and voice skills to all those who want to improve and enhance their performance, whether

at the board meeting or speaking in public. We work with individuals and groups at corporations, medical, and educational institutions. Our clients have included Shell Oil, WaMu, Cerus Corporation; Visiting Scholars and Postdocs at UCSF and UCB, faculty members at CSUEB's College of Business & Economics; university students at CSUEB. We are exited about developing Internet video classes which will be offered in the near future. Specialties:

Pronouncing American English (accent acquisition, accent modification/reduction for international professionals and students), Effective Presentations, Turning Stage Fright into Stage Presence, Clear Telephone Communication, Using Your Best Voice

E-mail ab@vocaleasecommunications.com if you have any questions or would like to participate in Pronouncing American English.
