STOP! Stop The Takeover of Palmyra The relationship between the Hospital Authority of Albany-Dougherty County and Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital must be changed.

The County Commission will not appoint anyone to the Hospital Authority who is not acceptable to the Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital Administration. The citizens of Dougherty County need to assure that qualified individuals are appointed to the Hospital Authority to protect the public interest. The Hospital Authority did not hire the attorneys who represented them at the hearing on June 13, 2011, nor did the Authority pay the attorneys who represented them in court or other negotiations regarding Phoebe’s quest to purchase Palmyra Medical Center!
