When was the last time you thought about what you really need to live a happy and full life? Not what society, or your family, or your partner or whomever says you need, but YOU. For some, it's financial stability, for others, adventure, and for others is a life dedicated to helping others. Take some time today to think about what you really need for your life. Once you know, don't apologize for it. You deserve to live your life on your terms.

I'm done apologizing for loving food.

I'm done feeling guilty for taking a nap on a weekend afternoon because my week was long and stressful.

Over the course of my adult life, my weight has fluctuated from 75lbs at its lowest to 145lbs at the heaviest. This was the result of a seesaw of starving and binge eating. For so long I equated my value to the number on the scale, but once I started listening to and appreciating my body's natural way, I realized that what's on the scale is just a number. How I feel and how my body feels is so much more important. Don't let a number define you.

Remember this- unless you've decided to do an ultramarathon or an Iron Man competition, what kind of workout you choose doesn't matter. Just move your body in a way you enjoy! Forcing yourself to do something you hate isn't sustainable. Doing a workout you look forward to is.

Getting back into a workout & healthier eating routine is hard! This morning I decided to go back to an old favorite, the Insanity workout from Beach body. It felt so good to get my heart rate up like that. Now for my go to brunch- eggs, baby spinach, rice & Quinoa with tomatoes & kraut. Feeling good!
