🧤 Warmth for the Homeless: December Donation Drive
You Matter Counseling Services, LLC is excited to announce our "Warmth for the Homeless" Donation Drive throughout the month of December. As the weather turns colder, we are committed to helping our local community members experiencing homelessness find comfort and warmth this winter.

How You Can Help
We are collecting essential cold-weather items to be distributed to local homeless shelters. Your generous donations make a real difference in the lives of those most in need.

We are collecting the following items (New or Gently Used, unless noted):

Blankets

Jackets/Coats

Beanies/Winter Hats

Socks (New only, please)

🗓️ When and Where to Donate
We will be accepting donations at our Albuquerque office throughout December.

Donation Hours:

Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM

All items collected will be distributed to local homeless shelters and organizations in the Albuquerque area to provide immediate comfort this winter.

Honoring Service through Dedicated Learning! 🎖️

MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT: We at You Matter are thrilled to share that several of our dedicated therapists successfully completed Tier 1 of the training to become STAR Behavioral Health Providers (SBHPs) today! 🧠✨

This specialized training is a crucial component of our commitment to learning how to effectively support our military service members, veterans, and their families. We are dedicated to gaining the expertise needed to serve those who serve us.

Tier 1: Introduction to Military Culture focused on equipping our team with a crucial understanding of:

The structure and components of the U.S. Military.

The unique experiences of military-connected families. 🏡

The Impact of the Deployment Cycle on Service Members and Their Loved Ones.

This foundational knowledge marks the first significant step on our path to full certification, enabling us to provide truly culturally competent and specialized individual and group therapy to our military community. 🤝
