It's true that there is no "correct" way to grieve. Some of us cry and hurt immediately. Some of us focus strictly on a to-do list, processing our feelings step-by-step. Others take to bed. Some of us put off even acknowledging it until it explodes out of us. Grief is as individual as our relationships are... as our love is.

And end-of-life navigators (death doulas) won't prescribe how to 'do' grief. But we will listen, and be there with you as you process. And we have lots of resources for peer support. We got you.

Folks who are part of the LGBTQ community often have an extra layer of consideration at end of life because they haven't lived entirely within mainstream expectations. At this brunch, we're going to talk about creative + joyful ways LGBTQ people can (and do) celebrate & memorialize their unique lives. Bring your story. Get inspired. Find connection.
