Anatomical growth problems related to abnormal breathing patterns, especially in the face area, can lead to significant heath problems such as: ADHD/ADD, type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, stroke, certain cancers, and even death can be associated with altered OXYGEN levels due to an OBSTRUCTIVE AIRWAY. The facial skeleton, the teeth and jaws are the support for the Aiway. A narrow anatomy may show up as CROOKED TEETH. The narrow and constricted bones and teeth lead to lack of room for the teeth (crowding) AND LACK OF ROOM FOR THE TONGUE. The tongue has mo where to go but BACK INTO THE AIRWAY, creating SIGNS such as: SNORING, STOPPING OR GASPING FOR BREATH DURING SLEEP AND/OR MOUTH BREATHING. Look for signs on the face such as: DARK CIRCLES under the eyes (Allergic Shiners), GROOVES (under the eyes called Dennies Sign), MOUTH BREATHING, LONG NARROW FACIAL PATTERN, SMALL NASAL OPENINGS, HIGH ARCHED PALATE, SMALL LOWER JAW, SMALL UPPER JAW (looks like an enlargerd lower jaw), NARROW JAWS WITH CROWDING OF TEETH and other signs.
This is IMPORTANT TO HAVE EVALUATED BY PROFESSIONALS WHO ARE TRAINED IN AIRWAY AND SLEEP DISORDERS. YOU AND YOUR CHILD‘S HEALTH DEPENDS ON IT.
