What a great morning we had for the 2025 Freedom Fun Run! A TRUE COMMUNITY EVENT!

Some fun stats:
*205 Runners, from:
*65 Cities
*22 States

*24 Volunteers
*23 Corporate Sponsors
*Ice cream treats provided to all 1 Mile Runners, from Alexandria's DQ (north & south), Culvers & McDonalds (north & south)

Know Before You Go

Thank you to everyone who came out tonight to pick up your bibs!

Bib pick up: For those who are planning to pick up Saturday morning, note that we have about 80 more 5K/10K runners to check in, so give yourself plenty of time before your race to arrive and get your bib.

We recommend before 7 AM, unless you are only coming for the kids 1 mile. (We'll be ready for you by 6 AM.)

Kids 1 mile runners do not need to check in at the registration table unless you have opted in for a shirt. (There will not be bibs assigned to 1 mile runners.)

Parking: there is ample parking for everyone in the Lake Brophy Beach Parking Lots -- it is a very short walk to the pavilion from there.

Race Time Clarification: It was brought to our attention that the race time listed on Facebook didn't match what has been listed elsewhere. Thanks for bringing this to our attention so we can clarify.

10K Race Start Time: 7:30 AM
5K Race Start Time: 8:00 AM
1 Mile: 9:00 AM
*Awards for 5K and 10K top 2 place winners in each age group will follow the 5K.

We will have snacks and water available to all runners at the finish line!

We are so excited to host over 200 runners from multiple cities and states tomorrow! The race will run rain or shine! If there is lighting, we will do a 30 minute delay.

Bib pick up is TONIGHT (July 4) from 5-7 and tomorrow 6 AM - 7:30 AM. Location of pick up is Lake Brophy Park Pavilions (same location as start and finish of the race.)

HAPPY NEW YEAR! That's right, July 1 is technically that start of our 2025-2026 school year!

As your family looks forward the year ahead, what hopes and dreams do you have for your child(ren)'s academic, physical, spiritual and relational growth?

A CHRISTIAN EDUCTION + SO MUCH MORE!

If you are new to our page, you might not know that we aren't the little school we used to be 6 years ago. We have grown, not just in number but in the opportunities we offer to our students to experience learning, build relationships and explore extra-curricular activities.

ELECTIVE COURSE EXPANSION:
*Elective course offerings expand learning beyond our walls into the community and are driven by student interests and passions - Intro to Fishing, Cyber Security, Biblical Hospitality + Culinary Arts, Car Care Service Learning, Business & Entrepreneurship, Music Theory & Song Writing, Intro to Leading Worship are just a few of the 12-15 electives offered each year

ROYALS ARTS & ATHLETICS:
*Fall: volleyball, boys & girls cross country, football (via co-op with Minnewaska), knowledge bowl
*Winter: one-act, boys & girls basketball, speech, engineer design, wrestling (via co-op with Minnewaska)
*Spring: DECA, boys & girls track and field, boys and girls golf

CAMPUS EXPANSION:
In 2024 we opened our secondary campus!
*Elementary Campus (K-6), remains in former location (New Testament Church)
*Secondary Campus (7-12), 3020 Rosewood Lane SE

STAFF & FACULTY EXPANSION:
*No longer combined grades in classrooms = 1 teacher per grade level
*Content specific teachers at secondary level = subject area experts leading learning in the classrooms
*Admin additions: Elementary Dean, Development Director (and a couple more additions being announced soon)
