Residents at Northfield Retirement Community by Vivie had the chance to explore their personal style during a scarves and jewelry party. They tried on a variety of pieces and learned new ways to wear a scarf.

At the end of the party, they had a chance to pick out items to take home, adding something new to their collection and their day. It was a simple way to express creativity and enjoy time together. 💙

A shared love of learning brought Walker Place residents to the Minneapolis Institute of Art. After spending time learning about artists displayed at MIA with art historian Gary Hanson, they experienced those works up close, guided by fellow resident and MIA volunteer Naomi Haugen.

It’s a reflection of how deeply connected this community is to Minneapolis, and how curiosity continues to shape each day.

Our culinary team from The Levande by Vivie had the opportunity to be part of Taste of Isanti, a community event highlighting creativity and local flavors. Manager of Culinary Services Karen Niles and Sales Manager Donna Robinson represented Vivie, sharing samples and welcoming everyone who stopped by.

Events like this are a chance to celebrate community and show how food can bring people together in simple, memorable ways.

Residents at Nelson Care Center by Vivie had the chance to take a closer look at the art of wood carving during a visit from the Prairie Woodcarvers. The display inspired conversation as residents learned about the tools, techniques, and time that go into creating these detailed works.

The community at Highview Hills by Vivie came together for a cause that touches many lives. Residents and team members provided baked goods for their annual bake sale in support of Parkinson’s Awareness Month.

Because of this shared effort, $1,100 was raised for people living with Parkinson’s. Thank you to everyone who participated and showed their support. 💚

Residents at Timber Pines by Vivie spent time preparing their hearts for Easter—creating a miniature resurrection scene and reflecting together while watching the film, “The Passion of the Christ.” Moments like these bring community and faith to life.
