Spine Trivia Time!

Cervical pain typically affects the neck, while lumbar pain is usually felt in the ________.

Your cervical spine sits at the top of your back and supports the weight of your head. Because it’s highly mobile and less protected, neck issues can radiate into the shoulders, arms, and hands.

Your lumbar spine, on the other hand, is built for strength—a set of larger vertebrae that carry most of your body weight. When irritated or injured, lumbar pain may stay in the lower back or radiate into the hips, legs, or feet.

We’re proud to share that Drew Paradis, P.T., D.P.T., was recently featured in Echo Press after completing Level 2 Functional Dry Needling® certification through Evidence in Motion.

This advanced course challenged clinicians to think critically, deepen their anatomy knowledge, and apply hands-on techniques focused on patient safety and effective treatment of complex muscle and movement issues. The Level 2 certification allows physical therapists to treat deeper and more complex muscles throughout the body—helping patients reduce pain, improve mobility, and move more efficiently.

Congratulations to Drew on this achievement and his continued commitment to delivering advanced, evidence-based care to our patients!
