Posted my update for October, November and December 2019 with VIPKid! (Check out the link in my bio)! I am loving it (as I'm sure y'all are sick of hearing!) AND I am making $$$$ so it's a win/win! I remember when I taught my first month, in August, and I taught 7 classes....SEVEN!!! I was like, "Um, self, you are not gonna make ANY extra money this way!"
So, I did something crazy and opened up teaching slots all kinds of hours. Just kind of thinking that at that point I just wanted to teach. I just wanted someone to book my classes! Well, it worked. That first month, I kind of was teaching crazy times and all over the place, but it paid off. I have some regular students who I can count on every week to book my class and keep me earning $$! AND, I am still getting new students all of the time, so the possibilities are endless!
If you are looking for something to do for a little extra cash (or a lot of extra cash), you should think of diving into this. If you have a four-year degree (doesn't matter what it is in....) you can teach at VIP Kid! As much as you want or as little as you want, it's up to you. If you have any questions, I'd be happy to answer them, and I would love to help you get started if you wanted to. It helps tons to have people who are already teaching who can answer any questions you have, or just give you info.
And I had not really heard of anyone teaching at VIPKid before I started. My cousins wife taught for VIPKid, so I talked to her beforehand (really to make sure that she got a legit check every month!), but other than that, I didn't know anyone. Am I right? Or what?? That clock in the classroom can say 00:59 before the next class and I can get another cup of coffee, hit the bathroom AND put on my lipgloss!!😂
This side hustle has taught me so many things, but mostly, I can do anything I put my mind to. I have always required A LOT of sleep! So this no sleeping thing was hard. But I have adjusted. Now sometimes I open my eyes before my alarm goes off. AND, I have found myself going to bed earlier (like 10:00 instead of 11:30!) because I HAVE to!
And some mornings I am SOOO tired, and then I have mornings like this morning where I had a 7yr little boy, his dad AND his 3 yo little sister....how much fun! They all had a blast and participated and before I knew it I had been teaching for 27 mins! I leave feeling most refreshed, like I have done something good today and everyone is happy!!
Exceeded my goals for last month and I will do my 3 month update, just been so busy teaching and working my full time job. But not complaining!! Thankful for VIPKid! 🧡

So when I wasn’t teaching all weekend with ,, I was working on this mantle.....I guess I’m feeling banners this year!😂.
I put up a banner for both the girls birthday every year (they are the last two pics) and I just kept going to Halloween (2nd pic) and Thanksgiving!
Cause you know, I don’t have ANYTHING else to do!!!😂😂🙄 Feeling thankful💚

Starting my 21 classes in 40 hours weekend!! Pray for me because I may be crazy by tomorrow morning this time!😂
But I taught 4 kids last night and each one of them is different! That’s what I have enjoyed about this the most so far. I am coming into these children’s lives and into their homes and cars and restaurants (yes, cars and restaurants!). Getting to know them and sometimes their parents and siblings.
Thankful for this opportunity!

When I’m not being the local school board Dietitian or teaching students through VIPKid I’m tagging along with my partner in crime.
He is always doing something. Sheriff’s Dept, Fire Dept, or Rapides High, he will do anything for all of them. And sometimes I go along for the ride!! 💚 him!

I’ve only been doing this teaching thing for a couple of months now, and I actually have a few regular students who book me consistently. This little boy I teach probably 3 times a week.
Imagine my surprise and how happy I was when he started class with this picture he drew of me! He got the hair spot on😂
I would’ve never thought that this little side gig would pull me in like it has, but I really enjoy it. It’s something different, it’s something fun and it’s super satisfying.

Um if any of you need me between Nov 1st and Nov 3rd, I’ll be teaching 22 classes😳. I’ve lost my mind.
And you know what’s crazy?? I want to open more, I just haven’t because I’m afraid I’ll fall flat over! But you never know, I may still do it...I’ll have to see how much sleep I get between now and then!😂😂
It’s really almost addictive. I want to keep doing better and keep doing more. And to be doing something that is fun! Then I remember I’m getting paid too! I’m grateful and truly blessed!
And I have BIG aspirations for November! I have a week off for Thanksgiving and I have Christmas $$ on my mind!! Another perk of this job-need more money-teach more classes. The potential is amazing!

Ok so....maybe got a little couponing bug yesterday 😂😂. My toilet paper haul and my gain haul. All from Dollar General with no paper coupons! Anyone need toilet paper?😳😂
I got into couponing about 5 years ago and it was short lived. I feel like everywhere I went my “plan” always backfired. Either you couldn’t use these coupons with this deal or always SOME KIND OF RED TAPE!! Also, I’m not going to buy something cheap if it’s not a brand I normally buy. Some generic brands are ok for some things (in my opinion), but others I just wont sacrifice...like toilet paper!
I got all of this toilet paper (18) packages of Cottonelle Clean Care (105 rolls) for $25 (that’s 23 cents a roll) and my gain stuff was $28 (full@price would have been $72) and this is what is included in it:

(1) gain fabric softener
(1) mr clean gain multi surface cleaner
(1) mr clean gain multi surface cleaner refill
(2) gain dryer sheets
(6) febreeze gain air fresheners
