Nina's passion for fitness & nutrition stems from years of yo-yo dieting and feeling unhappy in her own skin. After gaining the 'freshmen 15' in college, Nina vowed to stop the cycle and get healthy for good. Nina researched proper nutrition and gave up meal replacements and boring diets for wholesome, nutritious, unprocessed foods. In addition, Nina discovered the value of strength training and became addicted to the results of this healthy lifestyle. Nina wanted to help others achieve the same results, and became certified through the International Sports Sciences Association in 2013. Nina started Nina Fitness Training, which aims to help clients across the world get fit and healthy for life through customized nutrition & workout programs.

Just because it’s “healthy” doesn’t mean you can eat endless amounts of it. 😬

So many women come to me confused.
They’re eating “clean,”
they’re eating “healthy,”
and nothing is changing.

In reality, they’re snacking on almonds all day, loading a whole avocado onto their toast, and eating salmon big enough for three people.

Healthy foods still have calories.
And if you’re eating too much, you will stay stuck.

My clients snap photos of their meals so they can actually see how much they’re eating and learn what a fat-loss portion looks like without tracking a single macro.

If I were sitting there with you, I wouldn’t tell you to start over.
I wouldn’t tell you that you failed.
And I definitely wouldn’t tell you to skip pizza night tomorrow or force a 5 a.m. workout.

I’d tell you this instead:

The chocolate chips weren’t the problem.
You wanted them. You enjoyed them. You’re allowed to eat them.

What’s keeping you stuck is everything that came after:
The panic. The guilt.
The plan to restrict and “make up for it.”
The rules you made up on the spot just to feel in control again.

And I get it.
You want to feel in control.
You want to do better tomorrow.

But all that shame?
All those rules?
They don’t fix it.
They just make food feel heavier until you start believing you’re the problem.

But you’re not. You never were.

This is the part we work on in coaching.
We don’t add more rules.
We slow down the spiral.
We build a plan that works in real life. Stress, cravings, long days…
All of it.
Without the guilt.
Without the restriction.

And yes, you’ll still lose fat.
You’ll even eat chocolate chips.
But this time, it won’t come with shame or panic.
And your results will actually last.

You’re not a failure if the cravings came back.
You’re not broken because the food peace didn’t last.

Meds can mute the food noise and the cravings.
But they don’t heal the relationship underneath.

They don’t heal the fear of spiraling out of control with food.
Or the guilt when you eat “bad foods.”
Or the panic that you’ll gain it all back because you’re hungry again.

But that’s what I help my clients do.
No matter what tools or medications they’ve used or are currently using.

You ate 6 cold chicken nuggets off a dinosaur plate.
And your brain spun it into a moral crisis.

You didn’t fail.
This is just what happens when your brain has been trained to see every bite of food as a problem to fix.

Unlearning that takes time and support.

But I promise: it’s possible.

And it starts with realizing…

It has nothing to do with chicken nuggets and everything to do with the story in your head.

I thought I had food under control.

But really, I was just following rules.

Ice cream was technically allowed, but only if I earned it.
Pasta was okay…but only the “healthy” kind.

When I finally stopped tracking and let myself just eat…
I didn’t feel free.
I felt panicked.

Because I didn’t know how to eat without tracking or rules.

I didn’t know how to trust myself after years of relying on control.

Rebuilding that trust took time.
But it’s what gave me peace.

And now it’s what I help other women do, too. Lose fat without the obsession, eat without guilt, and finally live your life without food taking up so much brain space.
