[07/19/11]   Our current topic on our discussion board is "Creativity in Children with Learning Disabilities." We appreciate all comments and hope that everyone will gain some benefit from sharing their thoughts and beleifs about the subject.

[07/19/11]   Emerald is offering it's creativity challenges for children between the ages of 8 and 15. The challenges are problem solving activities with playful themes that encourage children to think outside the box and help them instill a belief in their own abilities.

Autism Society - Sensory Friendly Films

As posted in The Dallas Morning News Friday, July 1, 2011: THE AUTISM Society and AMC Theatres present "Sensory Friendly Films," a series for which families can bring in their own "gluten-free, caffeine-free" snacks. No ads or previews will be shown before the movie. Films in the series include Cars 2 at 10 a.m. Saturday, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows--Part 2 on July 23 and The Smurfs on Aug. 6 10 a.m. $4-$6.
