COVID-19 UPDATE: We are currently taking the extra necessary precautions regarding the coronavirus by practicing "social distancing" at our clinic. We have done our part by increasing the amount of sanitizing and cleaning around our clinic and decreasing the number of social interactions between staff and clients. We currently offer curbside appointments (see the previous post) to help with this but we also urge our clients that if they are showing any symptoms of illness to please stay home to prevent further spreading to our staff and clients.
Thank you for your patience and understanding!
[03/13/20]
Given the current COVID-19 situation Allen Veterinary Centre will now provide access to car side check in's to any clients wishing to avoid contact with environments outside their home. Our goal is to ensure that our patients have access to the medical care they need while doing our best to protect our staff, clients and the community as a whole. We would also encourage people to plan ahead and get their pet's annual immunizations performed early in case restrictions become narrower over the next few months.
When you call to schedule an appointment let us know you desire car side service and the information regarding your pet's history can be taken over the phone. An assistant will come take the pet from the car if it is on a secure leash or harness and then communication can be accomplished after the pet is seen and treatments administered when necessary. We hope this approach will aid us in maintaining proper medical care for our patients without causing more risks for our clients and staff.
Thank you for your cooperation!
Happy Caturday ๐๐ฑ
[02/12/20] Heads & tails up everyone! The clinic will be closed from 12-2:20pm for our monthly staff meeting today!
