Healthy banana bread. 😛
Preheat oven at 350F. Mix all ingredients in a blender. Pour the batter into a 9x5 loaf pan and bake for 30-35 mins or until a toothpick in the center comes out clean.
-3 ripe bananas
-2 cups of oats
-1/4 c of sugar free syrup
-1 tsp of baking soda
How I make my ☕️... cup of joe, a scoop of collagen peptides from Wild Foods, and a half of cup of Fairlife milk. Shake it up in your superman shaker cup and enjoy! 🙂

I love my TENS/ EMS unit. Got this about a year ago for my back but have used it for my shoulders too. Way cheaper than a massage. 😃There's a mode for kneading, acupuncture, tapping, cupping, scraping and random. Cupping and kneading are my favorite modes. There's different speeds and intensity levels too. What these units do basically is follow the same pathway as the pain does to the brain and helps cancel it out. These have been said to help increase circulation by forcing muscles to contact. Personally, I find it great for recovery, muscle spasms, and back pain.

Egg sandwich on Dave's Killer Bread with tomatoes, spinach, and low sodium cheese. A side of nitrate free low sodium turkey too! ➡️➡️Do you know it's better to cook some vegetables than eat it raw? Tomatoes and spinach are two vegetables, tomatoes are "technically" a fruit, that provide a lot of nutrients when cooked. Heating veggies like tomatoes and spinach releases antioxidants and like spinach releases even more beta-carotene cooked. Health benefits are 👌🏼 While you do lose vitamin C because it's sensitive to heat I suggest you eat a cup of strawberries. They are loaded with vitamin C and are delicious! 🍓

[09/07/17] The perception of lifting weights that are considered heavy to its critics will cause injury is skewed. Yes, as with any type of activity there is a chance of injury. That should not be a reason we stop enjoying the activities we engage in though. There's a chance of getting my teeth knocked out in baseball, getting a concussion playing football, and twisting my ankle running. All sports and activities have a risk of injury. Just do what you love. Train smart not harder.
[10/06/16] I love helping people! I've seen AMAZING results from my clients. I've seen clients in there 50s, 60s, and 70s gain strength and have amazing metabolic changes such as lower LDL, cholesterol, glucose, etc. Don't think EVER that because you have limitations that you're incapable of changing your health. I love teaching people modifications. Where there is a WILL, there is a WAY! ❤️
Why weight training is so important. Our bone density or max bone strength is reached around 30 after we have rapidly grown. Unfortunately with age our bones become more fragile. We can prevent fractures and osteoporosis by focusing on proper nutrition and exercising regularly. Don't be scared to pick up some heavy weights and sweat. Our bodies were designed for it. 💪🏼

Superfood smoothie packed with a whole lot of nutrients! This smoothie is high in fiber, vitamin A, C, K, potassium, and iron. Great for healthy digestion, good vision, and immune health. Also vitamin C works well with the iron to combat free radicals. These antioxidants are important to fight against free radicals so healthy cells aren't destroyed. This is why I hate supplements. Such lies! Supplements aren't regulated so you have to be careful what you take. They can put whatever they want on the label and you don't know if it's accurate and truthful. These companies don't care about the harm they are putting on their consumers it's just all about profit. This is why it's SO important to eat minimally processed foods too. Foods eaten together enhance each other's use by the body. Like vitamin c in an orange can enhance the absorption of iron from chicken or another iron containing food. That's why it's important to make a plate the provides a variety of nutrients from different food groups.

For a healthy gut 🙌🏼 Taste just like plain Greek yogurt but has more healthy bacteria strands and is way more potent. Probiotics are so important. We need healthy bacteria to fight infections and promote healthy digestion. Healthy digestion can significantly help with weight loss too, key word "healthy digestion" not diet pills that give you the 🏃🏻. If you can't drink the plain one try blending it with fruit and/ or honey.
Spinach lasagna roll ups! I got all my ingredients at Trader Joes. Here's the recipe:
1lb lean ground beef
7oz fat free ricotta cheese
Part skim mozzarella cheese
6 Whole wheat lasagna noodles
1/2 bag of frozen spinach
1 1/2 26oz jars of tomato sauce (I used tomato basil)
1 tsp of basil
1 whole egg
Cook noodles in boiling water till soft. Meanwhile, cook beef, till brown and drain. Stir in enough pasta sauce to cover meat (I didn't measure this part, sorry!). Reduce heat to low.
In small bowl, mix ricotta cheese, spinach, basil and egg. Spread about 3 tablespoons ricotta mixture over each cooked lasagna noodle to within 1 inch of one short end. Spoon meat mixture over ricotta mixture on each. Roll up firmly toward unfilled end on pan. Freeze 30 minutes till firm.
Heat oven to 350°F. Pour pasta sauce over and around roll-ups in baking dish. Cover tightly with foil; bake 30 to 40 minutes or until hot and bubbly. Sprinkle baking dish with mozzarella cheese; bake uncovered 3 to 5 minutes longer or until cheese is melted. Enjoy! :)

Carbohydrates are a preferred fuel source of the body. First, your brain needs carbohydrates as an energy source. By consuming enough carbohydrates in your diet you ensure that your body can meet its energy needs, but if your intake of carbs is too low for the day then your body is forced to break down proteins for energy. When proteins are used up for energy, they are no longer available to do their life-sustaining jobs, like helping with muscle contractions and maintaining muscle and other body tissues. If your diet is deficient in carbohydrates too then fat metabolism cannot proceed normally either and the result is the formation of ketones, acidic molecules. Ketones can be used by your body for energy, and they can even spare some protein from being broken down, but if too many ketones are being made this makes are blood way too acidic. Furthermore, carbohydrates are critical for energy. Without energy none of the other life processes are performed. As with all nutrients though, carbohydrates are to be consumed in moderation because having too much or too little in the diet may lead to health problems. Choose butter! Margarine is totally different than butter. It is a highly processed food that was invented to take the place of butter. The primary ingredient is vegetable oil along with emulsifiers, colorants and other artificial ingredients. Margarine is also often hydrogenated, which gives it a harder consistency and extended shelf life. Hydrogenated oils are bad and turn into trans fat that we definitely bad for our health! When you're unsure of what to buy, always choose the most natural less processed foods. 🐄 #farmlife #carcinogens

Something I found at target 😍 protein bar with omega 3s. Get more omega 3s in your diet. The typical American diet is way too high in omega 6s and too low in 3s. If we have a healthy balance, omega 3s will help fight inflammation in the body. ❤

8 KB swings (can use a dumbbell too)

Goes like this.. First round do #1. Next #2 and #1, then #3, #2, #1, till you get to #12 with all movements.
All you need is just two dumbbells for this workout. Also, friendly reminder calories don't count on Christmas! :) One day of feasting and enjoying some sweets with family and friends won't ruin all your progress! Today's tabata workout. Out of town and didn't have any equipment so I put together this little effective workout. Try it out and let me know how you did! :) My arms were pretty tired after this one!
I get so irritated when people say squats are bad for your knees or aren't a good exercise for glutes. Squats are great for basically strengthening every muscle in your body! When it's correctly performed with a barbell, you are strengthening your core by keeping a neutral spine. You're strengthening your arms with isometric tension, you're improving flexibility, balance, strengthening bones and joints, burning way more calories than almost any other exercise, and creating discipline (because squatting heavy is hard!).
The problem is people don't always see the results because of form. Many people do partial squats or don't have the form down and end up getting injured instead of seeing the benefits. Partial (half) squats make the weight easier to squat because there's less distance down. You'll be able to lift more but will only be working your quadriceps. They don’t strengthen your hamstrings and glutes. Many people think partial squats are safer though. But they create muscle imbalances which often cause knee injuries. In order to get the results you want and build an overall stronger body and firmer butt, you must break parallel on squats. That means hips below knees on the way down. It doesn't mean you need to need to squat down to your ankles. Everyone's depth is difference. It just means in order to work your posterior chain you need to squat below parallel with good form.
Start light on weights for a rep count of 10-15. When that feels good move up the weight!

Overnight banana nut oatmeal in a mason jar. ❤️ I used oats, flaxseed, almond milk, vanilla Greek yogurt, maple syrup, banana slices, and walnuts. Love making these! Quick and delicious in the morning 😊
These gluten free cinnamon donuts are soo good!! I love cinnamon donuts and when I find something that is gluten free and low in sugar I got to try it! :) Gluten free isn't a fad and gluten free can be worse sometimes depending on the substitutes. I have a sensitivity to gluten and lactose and it's more than just my stomach expanding and me looking preggers. Literally feels like my stomach is tearing apart so it's something I'm careful of. These donuts are called Katz. I don't eat these daily. Just a little treat every once in a while. ❤️ #fitfam #glutenfree #dairyfree
Last year I couldn't even do this with my body weight. Legs, glutes were my weakest mostly because of inflexibility and imbalances that led to a lot of hip/ lower back pain. I've come a long way since then because I keep trying. I've fallen, made mistakes, but I won't give up. I know what I want. Keep your eyes on the prize. No more excuses. #pistolsquat
False. The only bad workout is the one where you get injured and fall back in progress because you've pushed yourself too hard, didn't rest, or had poor form. Stay consistent. Small steps. You'll hit new PRs and get results but it takes time!! Slow and steady wins the race 🐢😅
