What is your priority?

Spending time in a doctor’s office, physical therapist/chiropractic office, psychologist office and/or driving to a gym?

-or-

Spending time in nature, walking through wet grass (grounding), gardening (squatting/stretching/lifting), taking in sunlight (vit D, serotonin release), eating organic produce.

I will take the latter which also comes with a tan, muscles and flowers for my wife!

So which strategy are you going to take?🤔

A VO2 Max Test is a measurement that reflects a person’s ability to perform sustained exercise.

It is generally considered the best indicator of cardiovascular fitness and aerobic endurance.

Many people are inefficient exercisers, with no understanding of what specific heart rate, intensity or duration would best help them reach their specific goals such as fat burning, endurance training, or cardio conditioning.

An initial VO2 Max test can clarify the specific target heart rates that will enable each individual to reach their fitness goals more effectively, with less fatigue and fewer injuries.

Periodic retesting provides motivating feedback as the fitness program progresses.

But first you need to know your baseline VO2!

There is no such thing as work/life balance.

It’s a myth.

But there is a way to seamlessly integrate exercise and training into your life if you train with precision.

If you know your limited on time than why wouldn’t you invest your time knowing your going to reap benefits from your investment.

This client of mine has a strong VO2 Max score but was lacking in his Zone 2 capacity (ability to use body fat for fuel).

Rather than continue training using outdated and inaccurate equations his VO2 Max test revealed exactly at what heart rate and intensity he needs to train in order to build a massive endurance engine.

My client’s concern was to not take time away from his family with more training.

So, we utilized his current training regimen to add his Zone 2 training!

If your an endurance athlete, which consits of every athlete that is required to run, sprint or jog for an extended period of time, you should know your VO2 Max and Zone 2 heart rate.

Why?

1. VO2 Max determines how big is your “engine”

2. Zone 2 determines how big is your “gas tank”

Many of my clients have impressive VO2 Max scores, so their ability to do hard work and training is there.

But, yes there is a but..

Many if these same clients have small gas tanks (Zone 2).

To be a higher level athlete you want both, BIG ENGINE and BIG GAS TANK!

The only way to determine this is a VO2 Max test.

The results will provide exact data that will make your training precise and extremely effective!
