There's a reason we started our fight against Food Insecurities, through programs like our MilitaryShare Food Distribution, and our Veterans Resource Center Supply Pantry, back in 2023.
In 2023, 13.5% of U.S. households (18.0 million) were food insecure, a statistically significant increase from 2022, with 47.4 million people living in these households. This includes 5.1% of households (6.8 million) experiencing very low food security. Factors like race, ethnicity, and disability, can affect food insecurity rates, with higher rates observed among certain groups. Just imagine, for a second, how much higher these numbers are today in 2025 π€
