Update: Thank you all so much for the prayers, love, and support today. Rocco is out of surgery and everything went smoothly. He is currently resting in the PICU and will be in the hospital for the next 4–5 days as he begins recovery. We are so grateful for all the continued prayers and encouragement. 💙🙏

Today we ask for all the prayers for Rocco as he undergoes hip dislocation and hip realignment surgery. This is a surgery we’ve been putting off for years, and it was even postponed back in October when Rocco got sick — but today, the day has finally come.

The surgery will take about 4–5 hours. We are praying for steady hands, a smooth and successful procedure, and an easy, gentle recovery. Please keep Rocco, and his doctors in your thoughts and prayers today. 🤍🙏

He’s back…it’s been three months since his last visit, and visit number 9 since last December 😞

He had a cold virus this past week, but was doing well. we thought he fought through it. Then all of a sudden, BAM! Oxygen level plummeted and had trouble maintaining oxygen. So off to Monmouth medical he went.
He is rotating between cpap and regular nasal cannula for oxygen, and receiving respiratory treatments.
But he’s happy, and resting comfortably.

Our Quest team and a very special fan named Rocco kicked off the recent New York Giants Legacy Game with an epic coin toss. Thank you to the New York Giants organization and Make-A-Wish America for the privilege to share this moment with Rocco and his family.

Rocco was born with congenital Cytomegalovirus (CMV), a virus that is passed from mother to her unborn child which could result in hearing loss and other complications later in life if not detected early. There is only a 21-day window after birth to screen newborns for CMV infection. Join us in helping spread awareness of CMV and the importance of testing early.
