Scott and Tim became roommates by chance after Scott had a total knee revision and Tim had surgery.

They both worked hard every day in therapy and had great attitudes towards their continued healing. They became friends, motivated each other daily, had pizza parties and discharged home on the same day!

Scott and Tim both enjoyed the therapy team and were so happy with the improvements they made. The pair plan to remain friends and we are so happy that their stay at created a lasting friendship!

There’s nothing more powerful than hearing directly from those we care for.

Meet Ms. Amelia Ecker, who recently completed their rehab journey at Cedar Crest and had this to say:

“I feel so much stronger than when I came in, I was so weak upon arrival. Therapy is so friendly, outgoing, and make the work fun.
Nursing always greets me warmly and takes care of all my needs. I liked my room- it was bright, I had a great view of the outside and I really enjoyed my roommate.

I'm very excited to get back home and take of care of all my cats- I live on a farm and have 30!”
