We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to teaching social-emotional resiliency through mindfulness.
Founded in 2010, Shanthi Project teaches brain-based mindfulness techniques such as controlled movement, breathing, and meditation. Students learn valuable coping and life skills that cultivate self-awareness, enhance self-esteem and promote positive emotions, helping them establish healthy and productive relationships with themselves, their families, and their communities. Shanthi Project also supports and participates in scientific research on how mindfulness and yoga benefits trauma survivors, and its approach has been proven to reverse the effects that emotional and physical trauma has on the brain.

The digital landscape is constantly changing, but mindfulness is a powerful tool to help us navigate it with balance and intention. Last week, our Senior Director of Programs Sarah led a presentation at Donegan Elementary exploring this theme.
In partnership with JOSHWAY, Shanthi Project kicked off a 4-part series tackling various aspects of Digital Wellness. Over the course of her presentation, Sarah talked with families about mental health, practicing mindful behaviors, and cultivating control in a technology-filled world.
The intersection of mindfulness and tech is increasingly relevant — so leading this workshop was a privilege. Thanks for having us, JOSHWAY!

We'll be holding this Shanthi After Hours in the beautiful space at Bar Torino. Throughout the evening, our lovely hosts will offer a featured drink special, including a discounted mocktail option. They'll kindly be donating 15% of all food and wine sales back to Shanthi Project!
In support of our mission, we'll also be holding a big basket raffle with lots of great prizes.

Spring is in the air, and our Mindful Mondays are BACK. We can't wait to see you bright and early next week!
As a reminder, this is a weekly series designed for adults, held at our studio in Easton. Each Mindful Monday session is split into two parts: an original guided meditation for part one, and a group discussion or activity for part two. We'll reflect on our practice and chat about the challenges and gifts of being human.
Each Mindful Monday has a suggested donation of $10/session, collected either on-site or by reserving your spot on our website. However, walk-ins are welcome, and no pre-registration is required.
Learn more at ShanthiProject.org/events. See you on Monday! 👋

TEACHING SOCIAL-EMOTIONAL RESILIENCY THROUGH THE PRACTICE OF MINDFULNESS.
Shanthi Project is a 501(c)(3) education nonprofit providing evidence-based mindfulness services to more than 4,000 children and adults annually across the Greater Lehigh Valley and New Jersey. Committed for more than a decade to education and advocacy, we are an established agency in the Trauma-Informed Education Movement, and the local authority on building resilience in an increasingly complex 21st-century world.
We offer the benefits of mindfulness, which increase mind-body self-awareness, reduce stress and improve focus. Our work promotes positive emotions that help others learn important skills to establish, or re-establish, healthier and more productive relationships at home, school, work, and within their communities.
We are led by passionate individuals and a team of certified teachers who are trusted by a variety of community partners in Lehigh County and Northampton County, Pennsylvania, as well as Warren County, New Jersey. During the 2019-2020 school year, Shanthi Project worked with 44 schools in 10 districts, teaching 4,000 students in 168 classrooms, and supporting more than 250 teachers and support staff throughout the area.
