So in honor of this week, not only do I send lots of love πŸ’• to everyone going through a rough time but here are 5 simple tips for anyone who’s struggling with lifting themselves out of a depressive episode πŸ™πŸ½

Imagine holding a bottle of water for a few minutes. It’s light, right? Now imagine holding it for a few hours, it would start to feel heavy. Arms would probably be a little tired. How about if you held it up for years? Could you imagine how heavy that bottle would feel? How tired your arms would be? That’s how it is when you’re holding onto the past. It gets so heavy!! It weighs you down. It holds you back. Put it down. Make peace with it. Let it go.
